The Mess Is the Point: Part 2

Veronica's POV:

Lena: "No!"

Ship AI: "Ship collision with Kalu in 15 Earth minutes."

Lex: "Kill them!"

Lex & Luthor chase after us while trying to stomp on us as we run away.

Brainiac: *laughs* "I do not know if we will live or die, and yet my mouth is trying to touch my ears."

Mom: "It's called a smile, Brainy. It's what happens when you're having fun. Look out!"

Brainiac pulls Mom out of the way before Lena can stomp on either of them.

Brainiac: *points to hyper-ray* "Can you get me up there?"

Ivy: "I mean, I'd vine you, but it's a little, like, non-organic in here."

Me: "Except for..."

I point to the leaf Frankette shed on the ground, and Ivy uses it to create vines that carry Brainiac over to the hyper-ray.

Brainiac: "Whee!"

Once there, Brainiac rushes to activate the hyper-ray as the Luthors corner and try to squish us like bugs.

Mom: "Ooh, those shoes look rich!"

Before the Luthors can do so, Brainiac activates the hyper-ray and shrinks them down to our size.

Ivy: "Hey, Lena, this is for killing Frank and stealing Frankette and making her think I abandoned her."

Ivy grabs Lena by her dress and headbutts her, knocking her onto her back.

Harley: *to Lex* "And this is for being related to Lena."

Harley roundhouse kicks Lex to the ground as Brainiac changes the hyper-ray settings and leaps to stand beside us.

Brainiac: "Get ready to get bigger."

The hyper-ray activates and grows us back to normal size.

Ivy: *to Harley* "I feel like your boobs got bigger."

Harley: "Huh. We gotta get one of those rays."

Mom: "Damn, I was finally at my goal weight."

Ship AI: "Ship collision with Kalu, 14 Earth minutes."

Ivy: "What'd that bitch just say?"

Brainiac: "Oh, dear."

Harley: "'Oh, dear', what? What are you oh-dearing about?"

Brainiac: "It appears that Lena must have set the ship on a collision course with my home planet, Kalu."

Ivy & I pick Lena & Luthor up off the ground.

Me: "Hey, hey, hey, hey! Wake up, Lena, and turn off the self-destruct sequence."

Harley: *to Ivy* "Gosh, you really knocked her the fuck out."

Ivy: "So did you. Wow."

We then toss them aside as we try to figure out how to stop the ship from self-destructing while we're still onboard.

Ship AI: "Ship collision with Kalu in 13 Earth minutes."

Mom pushes Brainiac toward the console.
