When Leonardo woke up in that cell tied to the wall he thought of many ways to free himself, he was almost sure he could dislocate his wrists to put a hand through the shackle, it would be painful, but he could hold on. He could fight with one of his captors to ask them to release him when they came to check him, he could even try to negotiate with one of them... because they were going to go and check him, right?

They had to go or they would be horrible jailers.

After the roars there was silence, only broken by the worrying creaks in the walls and the sound of hurried footsteps going from one side to the other quickly. Unfortunately none of those steps stopped at his cell to inform him something or at least see that he was still alive... terrible service, 0/5 stars as Mikey used to say.

He sighed heavily when he thought about his little brother, and consequently the rest of his family, and wondered how they were doing, his mind still refused to remember how he had gotten there, his last memory was meditating, but surely his little brothers are worried, the sensei must also be dismayed by their absence... the lair must be chaos. He lets his head fall towards his chest, he has to hurry to escape from there and be able to give signs of life to his family before they go crazy with worry; Maybe he was exaggerating, in reality he is the one who always worries the most about his little brothers, there's a reason they called him mother hen, and for them it wasn't that important... maybe they even felt relieved that he wasn't at home . He denies, pushing those thoughts away, he knew his brothers, he knew that they loved him as much as he loved them, they had gone through bad times like families, but they were always there for each other, they would not forget him in that seedy cell. They would come for him, he just had to be patient.

A new, even more powerful roar shakes the walls around him, and to his horror, he can see a crack rip through the wall from floor to ceiling. The positive thing is that the crack loosened the hasp of the right chain which allowed him, after a long struggle, to free the chain and recover the mobility of his arm. Using the same chain, and at the cost of some misdirected blows at the beginning, he took advantage of the weakness of the wall to free his other arm; There would be bruises, but I was free.

Now the only thing left was the detail of getting out of the cell.
He heard commotion outside, more footsteps and screams in all directions, apparently the source of the roars was more problematic than they had considered and Leo began to find the situation funny, karma for them that they had him kidnapped.

He stayed listening through the metal door, perhaps he could get someone's attention and convince them to open the door for him, he didn't like the creaks that came from the old walls at all; For a long time he heard nothing but people running and screaming, no one stopped at his door long enough to catch his attention and he was starting to get frustrated. At that rate it was easier for him to wait for the wall to open than for someone to appear to get him out of there. He thought about calling, but he didn't want to give himself away yet.

Someone stopped at the door, an annoyingly familiar buzzing sound was heard through the metal, and the annoying voice of the scientist known as Brandon Roughman? He didn't really remember it well, well, that guy was outside and Leonardo was sure he could convince him, he was a genius, yes, but also a coward.

His mind was filled with images of the times they had to face him, the strange shape of his body, the humming of his wings, the annoyingness of his voice... he didn't notice when his body began to glow in a soft tone of blue, his mind was only focused on the memory of the fly man. Suddenly, the same sensation he had before losing consciousness came over him, only this time it did not fade but he let himself be enveloped by the sensation, by the warmth that burned in his chest... his eyes widened in surprise when he stopped. He was leaning against the door and almost fell to the ground when he became unstable. How did he get outside the cell? From the other side of the metal door he could hear Troxman yell in confusion and start punching demanding to be freed, but from what the young ninja could see, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon, no one was anywhere near there.
Not wanting to waste time trying to figure out what happened, Leo began to look for an exit as quietly as possible, which wasn't much due to the jingling of the chains that still hung from his wrists.
