Hungry. || Chapter 2

Was it Ashley from the dream?
Was he cheating on me?
"Hey babe, wanna go to- jen what's wrong?"
"N-nothing, where do you wanna go?"
"Down to the pizza shop."
He looks at me suspiciously.
"Yeah, let's go."
I grab my coat and join Luke and Calum outside.
Emily's car pulls up.
"Fuck." Calum mumbles.
I look at him as he looks at his feet.
"Where the hell have you been?"
She slams her car door.
"Hello Luke, jen."
She stomps up to him.
"Do you know what today is Calum? It's our 2 year anniversary."
He runs a hand through his hair.
Luke wraps his arm around my waist.
He clears his throat.
"Well. We have to get going, good luck with this."
He pulls me towards his car.
"Actually Luke, you can take Calum with, there's nothing to discuss here."
She huffs.
"Why do you have to do this, why do you have to make a scene?"
"This is the part where we leave."
He whispers into my ear.
I open the passenger door and slide in.
He backs out of the drive way, with the radio blasting Old Scars/Future Hearts ( gr8 song yall should listen to it js)
We pass the shop.
"I thought we were going for pizza?" I laugh.
He shakes his head.
"Emily ruined my appetite." He chuckles.
"Are you hungry?"
I nod my head.
"Macca's ?" ( it's McDonald's for me but ya know what he's aussie so)
I nod my head again.
He turns left and starts to head towards it.
" the usual?"
"Of course."
My phone goes off and I pick it up.
Unknown number.
Strange.
I answer it.
"Hello?"
Heavy breathing.
"Hello?"
"He's lying."
"Who is this?"
I look over at Luke, as he's finishing up ordering at the drive thru.
"You'll see."
The call ends.
"Who was that?"
I shake my head.
"I don't know."
He puts his hand on my leg and pulls up, paying the cashier, and grabbing the bag of food and drinks.
I dig through the bag.
"Can you hand me one of those burgers?"
I hand it over.
"Where are we going now?"
He chuckles.
"You'll see."
I start eating my food, as he turns on a dirt road.
The sun starts to go down, and he turns up the radio.
He parks the car in front of a lake.
He gets into the back seat of his Range Rover and brings out a blanket.
"So you planned for this?"
I raise an eyebrow at him.
"I'm also prepared baby, don't you know?"
I punch his arm, rolling my eyes.
I sit down and we both finish our food.
The sun's fully set, and I lay down.
He pulls me onto his chest and we just sty there, admiring the stars.
"Did I ever tell you how much I love you?"
"Always do."
He interlocks our fingers.
"Well, I love you."
He kisses the top of my head.
"I love you too."
| 30 minutes later|
I throw the blanket in the backseat and slams the door shut, Luke starting up the car.
I feel someone watching me.
I turn around.
A form is in the tree line, I scream.
It disappears.
"Woah, jen, what's wrong?"
Luke's standing in front of me, hands on my shoulders.
"I thought, I thought I saw something.
"C'mon lets go home."
I slam the car door and look out the window.
The forms back, it's waving.
