Meet Me. || Chapter 7

" meet you tonight at 7 in the dawn spot as usual."
I shut my phone off and looked at the clock in the car.
6:50pm.
I was sat, waiting to meet Ashley.
I tapped my fingers on the wheel, turning up the radio.
6:55pm.
I look around.
Ashley's car pulls up and I get out.
She slams her car door.
"Anything new?"
She nods her head.
"C'mon let's sit and I'll explain it."
We walk to the picnic tables and sit.
She pulls out her phone, sliding it open.
"We found something, something that could be triggering your nightmares, along with Jen's."
She shows me the picture of the door.
"Look familiar?"
I nod my head.
"Whatever's behind that door, is haunting you, and if that doors open,"
She takes a gulp.
"if whatever is behind that door gets out, you all are in grave danger."
There's a rustle in the trees behind Ashely.
I stand up.
"Who's there?"
I walk towards it.
I see brown hair whisk past me and I admittedly reach out and grab the girls arm.
I whip her around.
"Are you cheating on me?"
Jen.
"W-what? No."
She looks at me with tears in her eyes.
"Then who's she?"
She points at Ashley.
"She's just an old friend, she's trying to help us."
There's a scream.
We turn to look where the scream comes from.
A figure is hovered over Ashley.
The same thing in my nightmare.
I turn around and pull Jen closer into the woods.
"L-luke you've got to save her."
I turn my head and see the knife being drawn.
"Jen, I want you to get in your car and drive to Calum's house."
She searches my eyes.
"What about you?"
"I'll meet you there."
Another scream.
Jen starts to run away, as I pull out my gun.
This is going to end.
I step closer to the tables and it looks at me.
Blood dripping down its mouth from Ashley's lifeless body.
I pull the trigger.
It falls to the ground.
I run off.
Getting into my car, I see it appear in the tree line.
I pull away and drive towards Calum's.
