Phone calls.
I've gotten 3 phone calls since the first.
Day 2-
"Check his phone."
Day 3-
"He's keeping a secret."
I haven't told Luke.
"Jen?"
He walks into our bedroom.
"Have you heard or seen Emily recently?"
"No why?"
He sits next to me on the bed, facing me.
"She's missing."
"What?"
"Calum can't find her, she's not at her parents, or any of her friends house."
I shrug my shoulders.
"Maybe she's just upset at Calum? It sounded like their argument was pretty heated the other day."
He puts his arms on either side of me and leans in, kissing my nose.
"Hmm, maybe, but it's not like her to run off like that."
I move face back from his.
"And how would you know that?"
Fear flashes through his eyes.
He leans in closer.
"Calum always talked about her."
"And do you talk about me to Calum?"
"When don't I?"
He laughs and kisses my forehead.
Our phones go off at the same time.
Unknown number.
"One down, 5 to go."
Attached is a picture of Emily.
Tied up.
Surrounded by trees.
She's dead.
Her right is barely hanging on her shoulder.
I drop my phone.
Luke's phone goes off again.
"DID YOU SEE WHAT THAT THING DID?"
it's Calum.
"Calum, calm down-"
"CALM DOWN?! YOU KNOW IF JEN WAS IN THAT PICTURE YOUD BE-"
He walks out of the room.
A few tears fall down my face and I lay down.
Luke walks back in.
He lays down next to me.
"Jen, baby girl listen."
He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me into him.
"We're going to go over to Calum's for a little bit, give him some company, okay?"
I nod my head.
I sniffle.
"Okay."
He walks back out of the room.
I get up and slide on my shoes.
I walk out the front door.
A ding goes off.
Unknown number.
"Does your boyfriend go by hem96 often?"

Luke slides into the drivers seat.
I lock my phone.
"Ready?"
I nod my head.
He pulls out ( hA) and starts to head towards Calum's.
When we arrive, 2 other cars are parked in the drive way.
Luke knocks on the door.
A teary eyed looking Michael answered the door.
He hugs Luke, and then me.
"It's good to see you again Jen."
"It's good to see you too Mikey."
We walk into the house and see Calum bent over on the couch head in his hands.
I sit down next to him.
I rub his back.
"Calum I'm so-"
He hugs me, face in my neck, sobs raking through his body, his arms wrapped around me.
"It's okay, Calum. It's going to be okay."
"Hey guys-"
Ashton walks out from the kitchen, with Luke and Michael.
I look up to see Luke's hands are clenched.
Michael clears his throat.
Calum lifts his head up.
Tears still running down his face.
Calum stands up to talk to Ashton, while Luke takes his spot on the couch.
He puts an arm around my shoulder.
Michael sits across from us and we start to talk about random things.
- leaving the house-
I stand there waiting for Luke, when I hear shouting.
I peek into the kitchen to see Luke and Calum standing there.
"Don't get so close to her, she's not yours, she's mine."
He points a finger at his chest.
"She won't be, if she finds out."
A smirk is plastered on Calum's face.
He's not upset anymore.
"She won't."
"Whatcha doing?"
A close the door and jump.
It's Ashton.
"Oh my god you scared me."
He giggles.
I move away from the door and grab my jacket.
"Ready?"
Luke walks out from the kitchen door.
"Yeah."
"See you guys!"
"Bye!"
We walk out, getting into the car.
"Is everything okay?"
He looks at me.
"Yeah why?"
"Just wondering."

I pull into our drive way as my phone goes off.
Unknown.
"I've got to take this, go ahead in."
I toss her the keys.
As soon as she closes the door, the look at the message.
"Still think it was just a nightmare? Or does she really love Calum?"
I slam my phone down and run a hand through my hair.
Fucking hell.
