Last Resort. || Chapter 9

Luke comes running in.
"Jen move away from the glass slowly."
I walk backwards, until I bump into Luke's chest.
"Luke, take Jen into the safe room, and We'll meet you there."
Calum's the one to speak up.
Luke wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me to the basement, inside is a large metal door.

"How do you want to kill this thing?"
Mikey shakes his head.
"What's that in the tree line?"
More of them.
Hundreds of them.
The first one starts banging on the door, making the glass break.
"We can't take them on."
Another bang.
"Safe room. Now."

The room is set up like a small apartment.
I sit on one of the couches.
There's stomping and then Ashton, Calum, and Michael run in.
"Did you kill it?"
"There's ,ore than one out there."
Ashton latches the door with about 10 locks.
"It's almost broken the glass door."
I stand up, looking around, I notice another large metal door, but this one is bright red.
"Um, guys,"
They turn to look at me.
"What's in there?"
I point.
They all look at each other.
"A last resort."
There's a bang on the other metal door.
"They're in the house."
"We can smell you, come out and play!"
Luke stands next to me.
"Where are we going?"
The thing pounds of the door, leaving a fist imprint.
"Our last resort."
