Chapter 3
Kaitlyn's POV
The perfect song. Yes, Kaitlyn had found it. She had picked the song that meant the most to her. 'Long Live'. She had heard it numerous times on the radio, and fell in love with it the first time she heard it.
Kaitlyn turned on her webcam, and got her guitar. She found a website online with the guitar cords.
Kaitlyn slowly matched her fingers to the correct cords shown on the laptop. She studied all of the cords many times, until she was comfortable playing the
She started up the web cam, and started playing.
She sang the words,
"I still remember this moment in the back of my mind
the time we stood with our shaking hands the crowds in stands went wild
we were the kings and the queens
and they read off our names
the night you danced like you knew our lives
would never be the same you held your head like a hero
on a history book page
it was the end of a decade
but the start of an age."
Kaitlyn went on until she had finished the song.
She then replayed the video to see if she liked it.
Kaitlyn had never really had confidence in herself when it cam to her singing. She was always told she was good, but what if those people were lying?
Kaitlyn thought about it, 'Do I really want to send this video in?'
She thought about it some more, and then made her decision.
She would send it in.
Even though she didn't have much confidence at first, she could feel a little spark of confidence in side her.
{So sorry for the short chapter! Tomorrow is my last day of school, and I need my sleep! Hehe. Night!}
