Tilly's POV
Waking up I stretch I lying there just looking at the ceiling, getting up I go to the bathroom and take a shower. Wrapping the towel around me back in the bedroom, I sit on the bed and open my laptop, I start looking for a job after an hour of looking I find a job in a coffee shop it's called Jennifer's coffee house. Picking up the phone I call the number.
"Hello Jennifer's coffee house Jennifer speaking how can i help you?"
"Hello my name is Tilly I'm interested in the job you have advertised"
"Do you have experience?"
"Yes I worked in a coffee shop back home"
"That sounds great can you come in around noon"
"Yes that will be fine"
"Ok see you then goodbye"
"Goodbye"
Hanging up I get dressed I have four hours before my interview so I decide to go get some breakfast and a few essential things that I need, grabbing my bag I make sure I have my keys and phone, purse. Locking up I take a walk through the town I spot a little cafe making my way inside I walk up to the counter.
"Hi what will it be?"
"Can I have a coffee and a bacon sandwich please" I see a bunch of teenagers at a table
"She is so fat!" the waitress looks at me
"Im So sorry I'll have a word" putting on my game face I say
"It's ok I got it" I turn around to the teenagers "who asked you anything? you jumped up little shit"
"Who the fuck you talking to fatty?"
"That the best you got?" The teenage boy and his mates look around
"No bitch I got this!" then he shows me his teeth
"Your a wolf! so what and do you show your teeth to just anyone that's very irresponsible of you god help the pack your in"
"You know about wolves?" he seems stunned
"Yes I do want to know how?" Before he has time to answer I have smashed his head down on the table his friends looked shocked, putting my head down so he can see my face I show him my teeth, his eyes open wide I'm surprised they don't fall out of his head. letting him go I stand up and brush my dress down. Turning around I walk back to the counter.
"Do you want me to leave?"
"No Hun you stay you four on the other hand get out now" they walk off there heads low "I'll be letting Alpha Camden know about that, you sit down dear I'll bring your food over"
"Thank you".
Taking a seat I get my phone out and play candy crush,my food arrives and it tastes wonderful, making my way to the counter I pay my bill.
"By the way my name is Sally"
"My name is Tilly the food was grate thank you"
"Your welcome come back anytime" I wave as I walk out the door. Walking down the street I see a furniture shop I decide to go my inside. I see a settee that catches my eye straight away it's red and purple, seeing a salesman I call him over.
"Hello how can I help you?"
"Hello I'm in need of a lot of things I moved here just yesterday and basically need to kit out my first home would you be able to walk with me round the store and I can tell you what I need then I need it all delivered"
"Of course let me just tell my boss I'll be right back"
"Thank you I'll wait here". I take a seat on the sofa and it's very comfortable a few minuets later the salesman comes back I see his name tag Ben
"Are you ready to start....?"
"I'm Tilly" I hold out my hand
"I'm Ben" we shake hands and make a start. Two hours two bloody hours it took but at least I have all the basic furniture I know grandma will want to see pictures. Thinking of grandparents brings a tear to my eye I blink them away Ben has left me to get the card machine for me to pay the bill, Ben comes back "your bill comes to six thousand three hundred dollars"
"Would I be able to have it delivered today after two pm? it would really help me out"
"Let me just check" he walks away and comes back with his boss.
"I'm sorry miss we can't do today" I look at him this man looks greedy
"My bill is six thousand three hundred dollars how about I make that up to seven thousand could I get my stuff delivered?"
"I'm sure we could deliver today"
"I thought so!" I paid my bill and gave my address, leaving the shop I have twenty minuets to get to Jennifer's.
Walking around the corner I get to Jennifer's with five minuets to spare walking in I can see they are busy. I step to the side of the queue and wait after about ten minuets and they are still busy a woman rushes over to me.
"Are you Tilly?"
"I am yes"
"I'm sorry we are super busy I don't have time to do the interview now"
"I can do a working interview"
"Really that's great get behind here!". I walk around I know how to use the machinery taking the next order I'm not sure of the prices but Jennifer has that covered I just continue taking orders and making the drinks, it takes about forty five minuets to get things calmed down.
"Tilly come sit with me in my office" I follow Jennifer through to her office she sits down with a huff "I have to say I'm impressed the way you handled that, "why did you leave your last employer?"
"I moved here yesterday and i had to hand my notice in ,I worked for Betty's for five years and never had a problem I can give you her number for a reference".
"Your a wolf?"
"Yes I am as are you"
"I am well can you start tomorrow at nine it will be till five you will have an hour for lunch"
"Are you sure? I would love to take the job"
"I'm sure welcome aboard". We talk for a while longer and I leave I have a job, I see a taxi and hold my hand out, slipping into the taxi I give him the address. we pull up outside my home and a long truck pulls up behind us talk about perfect timing paying the taxi fair I get out, four guys climb out the truck.
"Hello we have an order for Tilly"
"That's me I'll just open the door, it takes about an hour to unload everything they are human and very nice. when all the stuff is unloaded I give them some money and close the door, sliding down the door I close my eyes and rest my head in my hands.
Taking deep breaths I calm myself down happy I'm on my own so I can be me.
