Chapter 11: The Perfect Gift Thursday, December 5 2013
Hee Yeon's POV
I start to boil water to make myself dinner which is just an instant noodle called Ramyun. It is very convenient with times like this specially when you're too tired to cook.
I add the seasonings first before the noodles because I don't want it to end up all soggy and besides this way it enhances the flavor of the soup. I then add an egg, few meat and additional spices because I really like it to be extra spicy. Afterwards, I place it in a bowl, set up the table and prepare myself to eat.
"Jalmeokesseubnida," I mutter with eyes closed holding chopsticks between my open palms.
I separated the chopsticks and start to eat my dinner. As I am eating, I remember Jimin's last message to me. He always know how to tick me off, calling me noona and all. I just don't like it, it makes me feel old which I am not.
I start to take large amount of noodles as I get more and more pissed. Jinja, that guy never stops. After a few minutes my phone beeps. Maybe that's him already, I thought, as I stand up and get it where I left it, the kitchen.
I opened the message as I return to my sit. Just as I expected, it's him. While opening the message I almost choked because of what I've read.
[Chimchim] What? Are you going to give me noona's love now? 😝
Wait, what is he talking about? What does he mean by 'noona's love'? He wants me to be his sister? Why?
I don't get it. Maybe he really consider me as his noona? But why? I'm just 2 years older than him. I don't even look that old and he's much taller than me. I continue to think about what he meant as I eat.
I almost choke again as I got this weird idea.
Is he referring to.. No. That's not it. Why will he suddenly say that? Is the 'love' that he's referring to is the same 'love' I'm thinking about?
