Yoongi's POV

"There you are!"

The first thing the girl I like said. I'm amazed on how she always manage to find me on my secret places. I guess she already knows me that well even if we have just known each other for a short period of time.

"I knew I would find you here."

"What are you doing here?" I utter in a toneless voice.

Apparently, I am not the best guy who can show his true affections easily. So, I always end up sounding like a rude snob that doesn't give a shit to anything or anyone at all. I'm always misunderstood. They thought I'm as bad as they think but the truth is I'm actually nice.

People doesn't even bother to get to know me and just always stick to their first impressions and go for it until the end. Most of them are actually afraid of me, I don't know why.

"C'mon now, Yoongi. You know that won't work on me," she said as she sits by my side on the floor.

But I can say this girl is different. She accidentally made me do to her the things most people are doing to me. I judged her from just a single act and end up fighting with her always.

As time passed by, I realized that she's the only one who can understand me. She's like me but different. Different in a way that she knows how to defend herself and still act like the opinion of others doesn't matter.

She's just like me but stronger.

So, I gave her a chance and gave it a try to understand her. Trying to understand her is like trying to understand myself, complicated. It turns out that she's not as rude as I thought she was and is actually sweet.

Ever since then, we became friends. She always approach me like no one else has ever did. She approached me like there's nothing to be afraid of.

"What do you want now. I'm busy," I tap on my notebook as I try to give her an idea on what I was doing. She looked at it and immediately understood.

"Here," she handed me the most important thing in her life that can help me with my struggle but I instantly refused. "Why? You've been bugging about me with this since the beginning of time."

"I don't need it right now so you keep it first for me. You might want to hold onto it for awhile and then you can finally give it to me when you feel like you're never gonna need it."

"Okay then," she mutters as she quickly withdraws it.

I always feel at ease when I talk to her. She has told me things that I have never known before and actually learned from her words. I have never met someone who is just as misunderstood as I am. And I'm glad I did.

Day by day she grew inside of me conquering what has left untouched. My heart. Then, one day I just realized that I like her. But it will never be possible for us to be together because..

"You know what? You were wrong," I looked at her curiously as I puzzled over what she meant. "I was never in a struggle between the two of them. I'm just in a struggle against myself."
