Hee Yeon's POV
An hour has passed since he came. I look at the time on the clock on my wall and it says 10:37 pm. We ended up playing cards to let the time pass and to get things out of my mind. It was seven to zero, seven for me and nothing for him. It makes me laugh because of how a lousy player he can be. I don't know if he's doing this on purpose so I can win or he is just really bad at this.
"Oh yeah Chim, are your hyungs okay with you being out this late at night?" I say, looking up at him as I shuffle the cards.
"Don't worry I think they aren't home yet. Besides there's nothing to do at the dorm so I guess they don't mind," he says as he looks at me reassuringly.
"Dorm? You live in a dormitory?" I replied with a curious tone. "But a dorm is too small for you and your hyungs, right?" I add as I place the cards down, cut the deck in half and we begin our game.
"Well, it's not actually a dorm it's more like an apartment but bigger. And I am not actually related to my hyungs we just live together," he says trying to explain the situation while both of us gets eight cards each from the deck.
"I'm confused. You live with your hyungs which are how many again? And you live in a dormitory which is an apartment-like-thing but bigger," I utter, air-quoting the words hyungs and dormitory trying to figure it all out because it doesn't make any sense.
"We just call it a dormitory but it is really like an apartment. Seven of us lives there with no relation with each other or whatsoever. We just live there," he replied, drawing one card from the deck.
"Oh. So you live there because of school and stuff, am I right?" I say, clearing out all the confusion.
"Yes.. something like that," he utters dropping off a bad card on the deck.
I nod after I got it cleared out of my head. Then I draw the next card. As I take a peek I saw that it was an ace. I dropped it immediately and shouted, "Yay, I won again! Eighth win baby!" sounding cocky.
