Chapter 40: A Fool Who Only Sees You Saturday, February 22 2014
Hee Yeon's POV
Since we haven't had a whole day to ourselves before, Jimin and I travelled together to Chungju early on a Saturday morning prior to going to where he's planning to take me. We slept the whole way to preserve energy for the busy day ahead. After three hours, we finally reached our house just in time for breakfast.
Before we enter Jimin suddenly stopped me, "A-are we really going inside? Y-you know we can still retreat," he gives off this awkward smile.
"Aish.. Stop whining. You've been like that since last night. I told you eomma wants to meet you," I try to nag him to stop complaining.
The night when he told me he wants to go somewhere with me, he was actually referring to going home to Busan. He said that he remembers the promise I did the night at the sea side, that I will return there with him. But to fully agree to his request I told him we'll visit my mom first since he haven't met her and that she really wants to meet him.
"B-but Hee Yeon, I don't know if she'll like me. What if she doesn't?" he utters with hesitancy.
"You know, you think too much. She'll love you," I respond slyly while pinching his cheeks and watch his worried expression turn into a gleeful one.
"Jinja?" he happily utters.
"No," I quickly answer and hurriedly turn the knob in front of me and enter the house.
