Birthday { Peeta Imagine }

Imagine:
You're a freshman in high school and it's the first day of school. You nervously made your way to your first period class. Juniors and Seniors smirk at you pointing and commenting how small and tiny you are.

Great, you don't know these people and you just transferred here. Everyone is such a douchbag. You strayed near the lockers trying to figure out where B102 is, then suddenly a blonde girl stuck leg out and you tripped.

"Nice one Clove!" A blond guy said. They embraced and kissed, they must be a couple. Disgusted you brushed it off and began your mission to find your class. You buried your head in a book, walking without a sense of direction.

A body bumps into you and your book drops. "Sorry... I'm so sorry I didn't mean to," you started to apologize. You looked up and the most gorgeous boy you have ever seen in your life stares back. His ocean blue eyes sparkles with concern and he held out his hand. "You okay? I'm sorry I didn't see where I was going," the boy said.

He blushed and rubbed his neck. You didn't know what else to say but stare at him. His sandy blond hair falls into his eyes as he stares back at you. "I'm Peeta and you are?" He asked, smiling sweetly. Your tongue is tied and no words came into your mind. "Oh... Are you mute?" Peeta asked suddenly embarrassed he blushed furiously again.

"I'm... I'm... Uh I mean my name... Is uh Y/N," You managed to stammer out. Peeta looks surprised that you can speak, you don't blame him. You're an awkward person when it comes to meeting new people.

Peeta smiled brightly and said, "Wow! That's a beautiful name, for a beautiful girl." Your heart skips a beat at his compliment, no guy has ever called you beautiful before. "Are you a freshman Y/N?" Peeta asked. I nod and showed him my schedule.

His smile became wider. "We have first third and sixth together!" He shouted. "I'm a junior by the way." You stopped staring at him, and your eyes drop down to the floor. You can't be friends with a junior, they've all been mean to you. Peeta could be the same.

You grabbed your schedule back and speed walked away, leaving Peeta behind. You felt a strong hand grab your wrist and tugs slightly. You spin around to be face to face with Peeta. His eyes showed a hint of sadness, why is he sad? "Is it because of those other juniors and seniors?" He asked softly. You bit my lips and nodded.

"I'm sorry, I'm not like them. Not at all," Peeta said insistently. You let out sigh, whats wrong with just having one junior friend? It's not gonna hurt. Days pass, you and Peeta become best of friends.

Your birthday was next week and Peeta knows. You've fallen for Peeta, but you're too scared to tell him. He might not feel the same way as you do.

Finally your birthday came, you lie on your bed counting the glow in the dark stars one by one. The door bell rings and without having to look, you know that it's Peeta. He always rings the bell three times.

You suddenly came alive, jumping up from your bed and speeding down your staircase to go meet Peeta. "Honey! Peeta is here!" Your mom shouted. "I know Mom!" You shout back as you went to open the door.

The door opens and the most handsomest man alive stands in front of you, with a banquet of roses and in a suit. Peeta gives you his cute crooked smile while handing you the flowers. "Let's go," Peeta said tugging on your wrist. You follow him to his pick up truck and he drives up on top of a hill. You gasp as you saw the beautiful scene. You and Peeta had picnic and enjoyed each other's company until the night.

"Y/N, I have a question to ask you," Peeta said while twirling your hair in his finger. "Hmm?" You responded. He pulls you up and leads you to a breathtaking meadow. In the middle of it was the words using stars: "Starlight Moonlight will you become my girlfriend tonight?" You squealed with happiness and attacked Peeta with a bear hug. Crying you said the same words over and over again, "Yes Peeta one thousand times yes."
