Plumes of her heavy breath shown white in the frigid air, as her bare feet pounded the icy concrete. She glanced back wincing as she seeped on a shard of brown glass. Probably from a beer bottle. Frantically she turned random corners hoping to lose her armed pursuers. Delapidated buildings rushed by her as she scanned the once great memorial for an open door, anywhere she could hide. It was getting hard to breath and her pursuers were gaining on her. Soon it would be to late. All she could do was run. Frantically searching for anything that could be of use to her. Run, until she can no longer move. Run, even if it's the last thing she ever does. She will continue to run. Forever.
