Either way, see ya Gladers!
And as always, enjoy!

It had been nearly a month since you and Newt had broken up. You didn't talk, you didn't even look at each other. You were almost certain that Newt didn't talk to anyone, he refused to go near Bella now. It secretly pleased you how he didn't want to be with her, but then again it pained you to know he didn't want to be with you either.

You and Minho were talking in the cafe with Fry when Alice came over to you, her head hung low in shame. "Can I sit with you guys?" She asked, looking up a little. "Sure thing, you alright?" You smile, sliding over to the other side of the bench to give her room to sit down. "Bella is really annoying me. She used to be okay and then she got so boy obsessed and now she's just a complete shank. I don't want anything to do with her." She admits, sitting down.
"Yeah..." You say, not feeling very comfortable talking about Bella.
"Well we've always got room on our table Al." Fry laughed.
"Thanks." She giggled.

After a while Teresa and Thomas ran over to you all "Hey." Minho greeted them, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Hey guys." They sat down and you all shifted to make room for them.
Even later than that, you were about to suggest going back to your rooms as it was getting late. But someone showed up which silenced you all. Bella. You scowled and sunk in your seat, Minho gave you a worried look and Alice refused eye contact completely. "Minho, love. Pass me the menu would you, only there isn't one on my table. I suppose it gave me an excuse to be with you though." She smiled, fluttering her eye lashes sweetly. Minho practically choked on his food at the thought of her wanting to be with him. "Go away Bella. No one wants you here." Alice spoke for us all, still not looking at her, just staring at the table glumly.
"Oh silly, nonsense. All I need is the menu." Bella protested. "Yes, and there are other menus. Get one from a free table." Minho remarked, shaking his head with annoyance. "But then I wouldn't be able to speak to you, darling." She then went round the table to where Minho was sat and rested her hand on his shoulder. He tensed up and threatened through gritted teeth "Hands. Off." Bella did as he said but didn't move away. You grabbed the menu and threw it in her face. "There. Now go away."
Bella tore it out if your hands and strode to another table. "We should leave." Teresa said, no one disagreed.

It had been just under a week since Bella's rather terrible attempt at wooing Minho. And she was already at it again. "Minho!" She smiled gleefully, sitting herself in between the two of you. "Oh dear help..." you mumbled, shuffling away.
"So, I was walking along and I suddenly saw you and your gorgeous hair and thought: Why not?!" She explained as though it were the most interesting story for a dinner party. "Anyways! How's my hero?" She asked, complimenting him wherever and whenever possible. "Listen here you little shuck face I don't give a shucking klunk about you and if you don't get up and walk away I swear I will reinvent the Grievers and set them off on you. Go away. And don't you shucking come back. Good that?!" Minho shouted in one long flowing burst and you couldn't help but smirk at him. Bella looked shocked, her jaw hung open, she made a series of strange shocked noises to replace words and she stumbled away.

Silence took over but not for long because you and Minho fell into hysterics. "That. Was incredible!" You laughed, hugging your best friend. He hugged back "Even I'm impressed" He joked.
"Seriously, though. I can't believe you just said that!" You continued to laugh. "I'm just glad you see you happy Y/N."
But you weren't happy. One thought still remained with you. Newt. As much as you hated him for what he did to you you couldn't help but feel this bittersweet knot in your stomach every time you thought of him. You still loved him. Your love was an engine running purely on hate. It was a deadly cycle and you could never escape it. Constant love supported by hate. You had no idea how long you could bare it bit you were determined to find out.
For now you were just glad that Bella might finally leave you alone.
