Ch. 8⚪Missing My Babies!

~ Chapter 8: Missing My Babies! ~

♡Debbie's P.O.V♡

"Baby?"

"What?"

"Can we go to The Carolina Pottery? I want to get some pillows for Tori and Juju," I looked out the window.

I heard Aubrey sigh. "We can get them stuff in Toronto and besides, you are suppose to be showing me places you use to go when you were younger,"

I rolled my eyes. "I used to go shopping at the Pottery,"

Yup, I was being THAT girl, I just really miss my babies, I have separation anxiety.

"Did you call and see if your mom is home before we go all the way over there?" Aubrey asked me as he pulled into a Hardees drive thru.

Kind of wanted McDonald's chicken nuggets but okay..

I pulled out my phone and dial my momma's number.

Momma :)

"Mmmmmaaaaaaaa!"

"What girl?"

"You home?"

"No, I'm at McDonald's getting me a fish sandwich,"

She gets it..

"Me and my husband are coming over later."

She laughed slightly. "You love saying that and what time?"

"I really do and I don't know maybe around five, I want to go to my house and unwind a little,"

"Okay, Mikey and Tammy wants to see you. Sam is in the hospital so Debbie Kay is at my house,"

I turned to Drake as he was ordering. "I want a thickburger,"

"What?"

"Nothing mother, I'll see you later,"

"Okay,"

I pressed the end button and slid the phone back in my purse. I was ready to just lay down and sleep but someone, I'm not naming no names but from there only being two people on this trip, you can take a wild guess, had other plans.

"I am so fricking tired," I yawned as Aubrey passed me the bad of food and proceeded to drive back into the main road. "Hold up, where is my Sprite?" I noticed we didn't have any cups.

"I'll drop you off at the house and get it then, I need to go to the store anyway," he eyes remained focused on the road.

I stared at the side of his head. "By yourself? Are you insane?"

"I'm married to you, ain't I? So I must be." he smirked then glanced at me.

I shook my head, licking my lips. "You are not funny, man,"

"I wasn't tryin' be, little girl,"

Before we know it, we were at our house. Everything was the way we always left it, the blue siding we still in tact, we recently had landscaping done and we now have a pool. The house is still only has two bedrooms and a bathroom, Aubrey wants to expand so bad but I love it the way it is, we have so many memories here and to me, it would be sad to change it.

I walked into the house and left my bag at the door. "I don't understand why I try to keep live plants in this house, they always seem to die," I said to Aubrey when he walked into the house.

"Why don't you get Tammy or someone to do it?" he dragged our stuff in the room.

I sat on the couch, watching my wilting plants. "It's whatever, I thought you were going to the store?"

"I am," he walked out of the room with the keys in hand. "You want something?"

"Ranch Pringles, oh and gummy bears," I did a small smile, hoping he would just get what I wanted.

He glanced over at me. "And you wonder why the kids always eat junkfood,"

I laughed. "They are just like me, spoiled rotten by you,"

He didn't say a anything but walk out the door.

I sat still for a moment until my head started to hurt so bad so I went to the bathroom and looked for something to kill this pain that was trying to ease it's way into me. I looked in the cabinet but didn't see anything a headache.

So I gave up my search and decided to go lay down on the bed. As I laid down I couldn't help but think about that man that choose me to spend the rest of his days with. Since the beginning it has been more than wonderful even though it all hasn't been easy. If I had a choice to do it all over again, I would in a second.

I turned my head and looked at the clock on my nightstand.

5:04pm

"Deb,"

"Bedroom," I sat up as he walked in the room.

He handed me a grocery bag full of goodies.

"Awww baby," I pulled out a bag of Doritos Sweet Chili flavored. "You are the best,"

He chuckled. "It doesn't take much to make you happy doesn't?"

I shook my head and smiled. "Nope!"

I know nothing exciting is happening yet but I needed to write something happy and upbeat.

I was writing A New Way To Love and that's anything but happy and upbeat... I mean it's really good but I was like 'damn, I feel like a bad person'

And that my Aubrey is cheating on me but I put that on the first chapter of the book I talk about below.

Anyway, my new book is titled A Boss's Love Affair which was that excerpt that you all read recently, well it's should be out as you're reading this so when you're done here go read the rest of the first chapter if you want and there is also an introduction. I am really into the book, I already wrote 12 chapters.
