"Brother, please!"

"No, Loki," Thor's booming voice echoed through Asgard, "you are a disgrace to the Odinson name. I have been ordered to tell you that you are to be-"

"A disgrace? A disgrace! Thor you know just as well as I do that I never meant any harm to come to Midgard!"

"But, brother, it did. You killed thousands of humans in your endeavor to rule the earth. Because of that, father has ordered me to..." Thor couldn't bring himself to say it.

Loki, though, knew exactly what was about to happen, "You're exiling me from Asgard, are you not?"

"Loki," Thor pleaded, "I tried to convince him against this hasty decision. I had no such success."

Loki bit his cheeks to hide the sorrow beginning to form on his face. He felt a heavy hand on his shoulder that then began to lead him to the gateway between Asgard and Midgard.

"Loki, you shall never be forgotten."

Loki muttered under his breath, "Of course, dear brother, as the monster of children's nightmares." And then he was thrown down to earth.
