IV. Frustration

Frustration is a frustrating feeling.

It haunts you and follows you everywhere you go, never leaving your side.

It makes you want to bang your head on a table and scream your lungs out. It makes you want to question its very existence. It makes you want to jump off a building (but please never do that) and throw yourself into a lake (please never do that either).

And the bad part? You can do absolutely nothing about it.

You can only sit in a corner, holding your head in your hands, waiting for it to end. You can only squeeze your eyes shut, trying to battle against the voices in your mind and purse your lips, waiting for it end. You can only bite your lip and impatiently tap your feet on the floor, waiting for it to end.

All you can do is wait for it to end and for your sanity to come back.

And the even worse part? I'm an impatient maniac.

Beware of it, for it can creep up and pounce on you when you're least expecting it. Because that's what frustration does. It appears at the most surprising and shocking times.

It leaves us confused and unaware of what's happening.

It pulls us down and drowns us in it.

And the worst part?

I can't swim.
