Dean X Reader - Goodbye (One Shot)

 "Are you kidding me?" you scream out as you throw a vase at his head. "How could you do this to me?!" You yell out as you look for something else to throw at him. "Babe, I'm sorry but it's true." You roll your eyes as you think about how you first met him. You had been in love with Dean Winchester since the moment he walked into your workplace; a little restaurant on the border of Texas and Oklahoma.

-Flashback-


"_________, you've got a table; and may I say they are two fine young men." Your childhood friend Marie said as she flipped her long blonde hair. You smile as you roll your eyes and head out to the floor. As you turn the corner you see him, his smile drove you wild. You clear your throat and try to compose yourself as you walk over and take their order. "Welcome to (R/N), my name is ________ what can I get for you today?"

He turns and smiles at you making your legs weak and a slight blush cross your cheeks. The taller of the two clears his throat and you turn toward him. He was definitely good looking with his shaggy brown hair and his greenish brown eyes. "Yes, can I get the Cobb salad please and a water?" you write it down then turn toward his companion and you find yourself lost in his gorgeous green eyes. He looks you up and down then clears his throat making you jump, "I am so sorry, I get distracted sometimes."

He smiles as he says, "Don't worry about it; I'll have the bacon cheeseburger and a beer." You write it down and then say, "I'll have that right out." You quickly turn and walk back to the kitchen grabbing Marie's arm in the process. You hand the cook the order and turning toward your friend let out a loud sigh. "So do they sound as hot as they look?" Marie says twirling her hair in her fingers in her hair. You smile as you say, "Yeah, I especially like the short haired one. He's...."

She raises her eyebrow as she says, "Okay I have never seen you with that look before. You like him don't you?" You roll your eyes and walk past her to make their drinks. "Oh come on don't be like that, I have known you my whole life and you've only had that look three times. The first was (G/N), then (G/N), oh and there was that guy that worked at the hospital what was his name again?" You roll your eyes again as you say, "(G/N)?" "Yes that was him. What ever happened with him?" you sigh as you say, "He was married."

"You're joking?" Marie says and you shake your head, "As much as I would love to continue our conversation I have tables to attend to." You put the drinks on your tray and cautiously walk over to their table. "Here you go, water and a beer, anything else I can get you?" You look at the tall one as he shakes his head then turn toward the other one to see him staring at your chest. "Dean!" his friend says kicking him underneath the table. "Ow Jesus Sam!" "I am so sorry for my brother; we're good for now thank you?"

You smile as you turn toward the one called Sam and say, "Oh don't worry about it, do you think your brother is the first one to ogle my chest? Thanks for the concern though." You turn back toward Dean and smiling seductively says, "Besides, you're not my type." You wink at him before you turn and walk back to the kitchen where you blush uncontrollably. "What did you do?" Marie says as she walks over to you. "I tried to be more like you and I think it backfired." She lets out a laugh as she walks past you into the kitchen.

-End Flashback-


Ever since that day Dean had been a part of your life. You didn't know what he did for a living and you didn't care. He would leave for work during the week but every weekend comes back to you. You thought everything was going great until today, when he came back and told you that he hunts monsters for a living. "If you wanted to break up with me Dean you should have just said so!"

he rolls his eyes as he says, "_________, I'm not lying. Ask Sammy, he hunts them with me!" You roll your (E/C) eyes and say, "Dean get out!" 

"Babe, just listen to me. I'm telling the truth!" 

You punch the wall and then turning away from him say, "Dean just go..." 

"_______, I would never lie to you. I love you." Your heart clenches as the tears start to pour from your eyes. "Fine I'll go. Goodbye _________, I hope one day you will change your mind." 

You close your eyes and force yourself not to turn around. A few seconds later you hear the door slam shut and you fall to the floor. Why had you let it get this far? Why did you let yourself fall so hard? You asked yourself as you cry into your hands. You had loved Dean and he had lied to you, but you would never get over him. "Goodbye Dean," You say as you curl up on the floor and cry your eyes out.
