Percy's POV

Beep, beep, the alarm blared. "Percy wake up and eat your breakfast!" My mom called from downstairs

I groaned. "Five more minutes," I said,

"You wouldn't want to be late on your first day school,"

"Ten more minutes,"

"Don't forgot annabeth will be there at school with you,"

Oh Styx, I thought, I forgot, Jason, Piper, Leo, Annabeth, Nico, Travis, Conner, Rachel, And Clarisse, was going to be there. I think I named all of them that we're going to be there. I quickly took a shower, brushed my teeth, and changed, then ran downstairs. I ate my cereal quickly. "Pretty excited to see Annabeth?" My mom said

"Yeah, hopefully school won't be so boring," I said

"Didn't you see her yesterday?"

"Yeah... Anyway, where's Paul?"

"He left right when you came down. I'm pretty sure you can catch up to him and get a ride to school,"

"Okay cool," I said as I closed the door behind me

I raced downstairs out of the building. I saw Paul right about to get in his car. "Oh hey Percy, you need a ride?" He asked

"Yeah," I said

I got in the car with my backpack. I looked at the clock, it was 7:24 and I had to be there at 7:35, that's when the doors close and are locked, though luckily, there wasn't as much traffic as usual. I got there at 7:32. I ran inside hopefully seeing Annabeth. I got to my locker and put some books in. I noticed a girl with curly blonde hair with her back turned towards me. "Hey wise girl," I said

The girl turned around. It turned out it was Blair, the mean popular girl of this school who thinks I'm her boyfriend and I'm just playing hard to get. (Yes I am adding a popular girl to this story, most Goode high stories have one. So I am basically copying the style of writing of a normal Goode high story except with a twist!) "Oh hey Percy," she said

"I have a girlfriend, i told you that," I said

She giggled. "Oh sure, we both know your just playing hard to get,"

"I'm not!"

That came out louder then I wanted it to be. People looked at me and scooted away. I quickly speed-walked away. I looked back at Blair who was staring at me. Suddenly, I bumped into Annabeth, like literally bumped into Annabeth knocking down all her books. I helped her pick up her books. She looked up and noticed me. "Percy!" She said hugging me

"Annabeth!" I said

"I've been looking for you all over the place!"

"Same, except I haven't been looking all over the place,"

The bell rang, "I better get to math class with Mrs. Moore," I said (I am aware that I skipped home room)

"I have math too!" Annabeth said.

We held hands and walked to math class. "Hello class I am Mrs. Moore," Mrs. Moore said.

I kind of stopped listening from there, it's not like we were going to learn anything, it's the first day. I looked around the classroom and noticed Travis and Rachel, they weren't paying attention either. Travis was playing with a pencil, and Rachel was drawing.

Suddenly I heard a loud tapping on my desk. Mrs. Moore was next to my desk. "Mr. Jackson! You have to pay attention! I'm going to give you a easy math problem! What is 19✖️6?"

I gave my famous Percy Jackson answer, "Umm,"

Annabeth, Rachel, and Travis, gave me a sad look. "Tsk, tsk," Mrs. Moore scolded. "The correct answer is 114, obviously! Because of Mr. Jackson's answer I will be giving all of you 3 pages of homework!"

Everybody groaned. The bell rang. It was the first day and only the first class and I already of 3 pages of homework front and back! Dam.
