One thing that's really hard is waiting. I'm feeling like God's telling me to take a break from writing a story I'm working on. And, I think it's the right thing. He knows best.
I think it's all something we need to be in tune with: what God wants us to do. Because, honestly, I have a hard time not speeding ahead. But, the thing is that God often closes doors so we don't make a mistake. Sometimes God closes them so He can open an even better opportunity down the road.
I know this is just a short, little note, but I wanted to say to all you authors for Christ out there...
That God really does love you.
He wouldn't say, "No," if He wasn't going to say "Yes," to something way better.
That waiting makes us more dependent on God. We learn to listen to him more. We begin to trust him. Because, if you love someone, you trust them...right?
So, that's my little challenge to you. Trust God. He knows way more than the seven billion people on this planet combined!
