Chapter 4: Fangpyre

After taking a close look at the map, and following it perfectly, the two siblings were met with a graveyard. Karasu was wide eyed and shaking, never having liked places like this. "It's not scary! Umm, maybe just a little bit. I like scary, yeah that's it! I'm the son of the Dark Lord, I love the dark! Why, I eat this stuff for breakfast!" "Good for you Lloyd, but personally I'm terrified of this place." Both managed to get a glimpse of an old tree, and screamed. Karasu would have run off, had Lloyd not been there, as she wanted to be a good older sister. "I'm gonna' make those Hypnobrai pay for betraying me, I have to find the Fangpyres. If there's anything a snake doesn't like, it's another snake! Here, by the mutated tree! I found it!" Lloyd got down, and began to remove the dirt covering the seal. "Soon the Serpentine will know who their master is, and it will be I, Lloyd Garmadon!" A strike of lightning hit at the perfect time, startling both. Lloyd recovered from his shock before Karasu, and pushed something on the seal, opening the tomb. Instantly, they began to leap from their prison, hissing, the sound putting Karasu on edge. The apparent general, slithered close, still hissing. "And who. May I say released us. From our captivity?" "Lloyd. I released you to make the Hypnobrai pay for betraying me." "The Hypnobrai? Those hypnotizing deceivers) It'll be. Our pleasure)" "Oh, good! I'll lead the way. Then after that, there's ninja I want dealt with." "Sounds like. You know. What you want. But the Hypnobrai are strong. And we are few in numbers. We need. Reinforcements." "What did you have in mind?" The general began to hiss the strange hiss, to which Karasu finally got out of her crouched position, and stood tall, revealing how big she really was. Karasu began to growl, and wrapped her tail around Lloyd in a protective manner. "If you're thinking about doing 'that' to Lloyd, then think again. I'm his older sister Karasu, and I'm highly protective. And if you even want to try earning my trust, then you'd best start with your name." The general backed down when he got a good look at her size, both heads shrinking back. "I am Fangtom." Both heads said in unison, fearing the dragoness before them. At his name being uttered, a red snake marking matching the first one, appeared on Karasu's hip, the tail intertwined with the other, now almost resembling a fan like shape. After some more time, they were on the move again, heading for some junkyard. Lloyd leading Karasu by her reigns, while the tribe followed behind, Fangtom next to Lloyd, Karasu's eyes constantly on him, and the anti-venom her dear friend had made in her side bag, ready to go. They arrived at nightfall, Karasu turning human, now wearing her white cloak, and hiding with Lloyd and Fangtom, while the rest of the tribe hid in other places. One of the soldiers from the tribe ran by, startling the couple who lived there. Karasu waited a few moments, before cutting the power, scaring the couple even more. The male made a threat about his son knowing Spinjitzu, making Karasu roll her eyes. She knew it as well, having been taught it at a very young age, when her uncle first realized what she was. Fangtom put one head where it would create as shadow, and began to hiss, making fear wash off in waves from the two. Karasu began to store some in a vial for Voxen, knowing he loved it, seeing as how he was Master of Nightmares, and it was like eating a sweet treat for him. Karasu sealed the vial, and returned it to her bag, just as the man told the woman to call Jay. That was their signal, and Karasu hoisted Lloyd to the top of the trailer, Fangtom being next, and Karasu jumping up, all three now on the roof. "How about we wait till he calls you?" Lloyd suggested, showing the phone he had cut, and doing his best evil laugh. "Ed!" "Be strong Edna, I won't let em' hurt you!" Karasu could tell the man, who she now learned was called Ed was just putting on an act for Edna. "If we plan. To attack. The Hypnobrai. We'll need to grow. Our army!" "And uhh. How do we do that?" "Let's just say. We Fangpyre bite off more. Than we can chew!" Fangtom turned. "Have at it boys!" The rest of the tribe came out of their hiding places, hissing, before starting to bite things, mutating them, so they'd be more snake like. "My creations, they're turning them into.." "An army?! You are correct. But we can also. Turn people too." Fangtom made the strangest of noises, as some other tribe members came up behind the couple. (And let's just say Karasu covered Lloyd's eyes. Now to a timeskip) Everyone waited nearly all day, having stuffed the couple in some green thing. While Karasu sat off to the side, slightly jealous of the love they shared, seeing as how she had always wanted to find that one special person, the one who would make her heart soar. She heard the door open, and peeked over the pile she was behind, seeing the ninja. Karasu got next to Lloyd and Fangtom, ready for some action. "Lloyd, Karasu!" "Hello, Uncle. Looks like we're not the only family reunion. Glad you brought the ninja, I could use some help taking out the trash!" Lloyd did his best evil laugh, while Karasu smirked, finding amusement in her Uncle's surprise. Karasu heard about them wanting the staff for its anti-venom, and watched as the blue one came charging. She continued to watch, seeing her Uncle use the sacred flute, and the girl with them get in a crotch shot. Lloyd pulled out a stereo, and began to play it, catching the attention of all. "Young Nephew, and Niece. Must I teach you who's side you should be on?" Lloyd cranked up the volume. "Sorry Uncle, can't hear you!" Karasu saw the ninja go towards some giant statue thing, and a few Fangpyre change, while the music played loudly. It began to chase them, making the ninja run towards the mutated wrecking ball. The blue one managed to get a hold of it, and brought down the robot, making Lloyd call out for them to retreat. A helicopter came and retrieved them, all three on a platform below it. They went a few miles before something flew past them. "What the heck was that?" It turned around, but soon lost control, earning a "duck" from Fangtom, and when they brought their heads back up, the staff was gone. Sending Fangtom into a slight panic. Karasu watched as the vehicle disappeared, and the blue ninja started to fall, screaming. "Everyone. Attack!" Fangtom cried, wanting to retrieve the staff. The entire tribe turned, crying out in a battle cry. "Look they're getting away!" The helicopter jolted forward with speed, Karasu gripping the wire that held the platform harder. They came apoun a ship of some sort, watching as the ninja went in. They were almost there when the ship suddenly lifted of the ground, earning a string of no's from Lloyd. The staff suddenly went overboard, and knocked out one of the tribe members, a loud "thunk" resounding. "These ninja. They must be stopped!" Fangtom's anger obvious. "Tell me about it." Lloyd hoarsely complained, the sand that was stirred up having made his throat sore, while Karasu was only coughing.

A/N: I'm watching the show as I write, and I'm getting kinda love struck here. My favorite character should be appearing soon, and I cant wait. Also the speech with bold writing and normal writing in the same speech line  is Fangtom talking. the bold is the deeper voiced head, and the normal is the other head, and I'm off to go fangirl now.
