Everyone was now going through a harsh blizzard, almost unable to hear what another said, and only being here for the Hypnobrai. Over a hill, the entire tribe could be seen, their blue scales standing out in the snow. "The Hypnobrai. Now to tech them a lesson for betraying Loyd Garmadon!" Thankfully Lloyd was loud enough to hear. The tribes charged at eachother, Fangtom getting off the vehicle, and Skales sticking his staff in the ground. "Skales, my old chum! I didn't think I'd be fighting you! Moved up in the world have we?" "If it isn't the Fangpyre! Of all the cold-blooded to creep up on us. I'm glad that it is a friend." Karasu just face palmed, the situation now too ridiculous. "Wait. I though you were enemies, not friends." "We were at war. But seeing that Skales is now leading them. Well, I don't see why we can't be comrades." "Had you released the Constrictai, Venomari, or heaven forbid the Anacondrai. Then we would've had a tussle." And that's when Lloyd lost it, Karasu just got ready to carry him off, sitting down, watching her brother finally let it all out. Lloyd hopped off, and made a made a mad dash for her, considering she had hung about two feet back from the last person walking. Lloyd ended up trying to mount one of the bikes, but was launched about fifteen feet from her, going head first into the snow. Karasu picked him up by his collar, and trotted off, heading for somewhere warmer.

Lloyd decided to go to the desert, now walking and leading her, doing what Karasu considered a perfect impression of Skales. Karasu started to space out, thinking if her destiny would possibly lead to finding love, but she was snapped out of her trance by Lloyd suddenly tugging her forward in a quick motion the sudden jolt causing her to turn human, after loosing control of her powers for a moment. Karasu watched as Lloyd managed to get the door open, following him in. They were greeted with the sight of many skeletons, causing Karasu to quiver, and put her at the ready to grab her wand or flute, depending on how many living Serpentine were still in there. Both continued to walk further in, not taking notice of what was behind them, until Lloyd was startled by something, making Karasu squeal, and make her go flying like her brother, emerald eyes wide with fear. A large royal blue Serpentine came around the pillar, coming close to Lloyd's face, making Karasu growl lightly in warning. She watched as it came closer, ready to transform and strike with the potent venom she possessed, taking cover behind Lloyd so she'd have a better chance of a surprise attack.. "My sincerest apologies young man. Do to my unfortunate appearance, I tend to have an unsettling affect on people. I believe you dropped this, there you are." Lloyd took his flashlight, thanking the serpent, while Karasu stepped out from behind him, managing to catch the serpent's eye. As they began to walk, Lloyd took the first thing on Karasu's mind, and asked before she could. "What happened to the others?" "Poor unfortunate souls, all those years locked away, with noting to eat, must've slowly starved away, untill they were just scales and bones." They stopped walking, and the serpentine looked to the siblings, causing Karasu to step closer to her brother, growling once again in a warning matter. "And who might you be my little appetiz....I mean friend?" "Loyd Garmadon. Son of Lord Garmadon, and future Dark Ruler." He began to chuckle, making Karasu even more edgy. "How deliciously evil. If I had feet, I'd be trembling in my boots." He looked to Karasu, coming close to her. "And may I ask your name, my dear?" "It's Karasu, and I'm Lloyd's older sister. Now may I ask just who you are?" "Such a perfect name for a pure bred beauty like yourself, and humbly, I am Pythor P. Chumsworth. And since you freed me, I'm eternally in your service." "Really? You're not gonna trick me and Karasu?" "Why would I trick you? I hardly have any friends." "Woah, I hardly have any friends too!" "You don't say!" "Hey, how you like to be my loyal henchmen? I've been betrayed by the Hypnobrai, and the Fangpyres, and I'm lookin to get a little revenge on some ninja too." Karasu was too busy trying to hide her blush, too even notice what Pythor was doing, but she could still hear every word of the conversation. "I love revenge! Oh, you know Floyd." "It's Lloyd." "Whatever. I have a feeling this is the start of a beautiful friendship." The guys decided to go somewhere, while Karasu chose to stay behind, needing to think about something. She watched as they left, and waited till they were out of sight, before turning into a dragon, and looking at her flank. Karasu saw a new purple snake shape, its tail intertwined with the others, and took note of the fact that it was glowing, causing her eyes to water. "No, no, no. I just got him back, I don't want to be separated from him again. Why must fate be so cruel and tear me apart from my family? Now, if Lloyd leaves to find another tribe, or if someone is kind enough to take him in, I can't go. I have to stay with Pythor now. Only problem is, will he let me stay? And I don't want to force him, or be a burden. What if my destiny is what it is, because it might be leading me to my heart's desire? How am I going to tell Lloyd? I don't want to make him cry, but I also don't want to ignore my destiny. It's either, go with Lloyd and ignore, thus possibly preventing me from reaching my true potential. Or I stay with Pythor, and possibly reach my full potential. Because if my destiny really is leading to my heart's desire, then what uncle Wu said about someone's true potential only being unlocked when someone is experiencing strong emotions, then it might lead to my full potential. But if Pythor ends up hating the ninja, and I unlock my true potential, or he finds out I'm the element of magic, then he might hate me. What am I going to do?" She continued to think over everything that could possibly happen, until Pythor and Lloyd returned, stopping her, and allowing Pythor to get a look at her as a dragon, to which he approved of, earning a sigh of relief from Karasu. She watched as they went inside, hearing Lloyd praise Pythor, and Pythor returning the flattery, along with Lloyd talking about his boarding school, and admitting that he was kicked out, their plan for the next day being added. Karasu peeked her head in, and saw Pythor hugging Lloyd, making her smile slightly. Karasu looked to the moon, hoping that things would turn out alright, before looking back, seeing them both asleep, not knowing that Pythor was faking it. Karasu walked in, and nuzzled her brother lightly, shedding a single tear, whispering. "Lloyd, no matter what happens, please remember that I will always love you, and what I do is because of my destiny. Though it may be something that is unwanted, it has to happen. And I will visit you in your dreams, and sing for you, when you need me." She then looked to Pythor, whispering once more. "I hope you'll accept me, and understand what's going on." She walked out, more silent tears falling, and Pythor's head lifting up, seeing her leave, getting up carefully, and watching her from the entrance, able to hear her perfectly. Karasu sat on the cool sand outside, sitting just far enough where they wouldn't hear her, before sobbing, unhappy with what would eventually happen. She didn't even notice when a dark figure appeared before her. "Ravanna." Karasu's head jerked up at the sound of her full first name, but she couldn't see much through her tears. "Wh-Who's there? Show yourself!" "Now just how hard is it to recognize your own father?" Karasu's emerald orbs became wide, not believing what she was hearing. "D-Daddy? Is that really you?" The figure came closer, allowing her to see the glowing red eyes. "Yes my Dark Princess, it truly is. And I know what you're going through. If you come with me, I can get rid of that silly mark." Karasu stepped back, even if this was her father's scent, and it really was him, she wasn't going to go. "N-No." "What?" "I said no! I'm not going with you!" Her father stepped forward, looking angry. "How dare you disobey your father!" "And how dare you abandon me, when I needed you most!" Karasu stood, showing dominance. "Mom just up and left, taking Lloyd with her, and not even giving me a chance to say goodbye, I was heart broken! And then a day after, you leave in the middle of the night, not even bothering to tell me! I basically had nothing then, the only thing I did have, was Voxen! And he was there for me! To make matters worse, I was only six, and you decide to come for me now, twelve years later! Yet you expect me to go with you, after everything I've been through!" Karasu was fuming, tears falling from her eyes, yet she stood tall, raising her large wings fully, showing dominance over her father. "I don't care if you're the king of Ninjago, I'm not going anywhere with you!" Karasu's hatred and pain towards her parents had finally surfaced, giving her courage towards her father. "Ravanna Lanosa Meamora Cadensa Garmadon! You need to learn some manners.." "So you can use me?! I don't think so! Now you'd best leave, or I'm gonna use some of the dark magic I have, thanks to you, on you!" Karasu turned, and began to walk back to the tomb, but what her father said next, stopped her in her tracks. "You wouldn't even be able you use magic if it wasn't for your grandmother. It's because of her, that you're the Elemental Master of Magic! And I'm sure that if that Serpentine you met this morning found out, he wouldn't even consider letting you stay! You'd be forced to leave!" Karasu turned sharply, her eyes filled with emotions, none of them good. "JUST SHUT UP! I HATE YOU! NOW LEAVE OR ELSE!" Her father had an emotion that was unreadable plastered on his face, before disappearing, leaving the angry dragoness behind, as she started to sob again. Karasu turned human, covering her eyes with her hands, not taking notice of Pythor, who had come to her side. She only looked up when she felt a hand on her shoulder, being met with his ruby eyes. "How much of that did you see? "Everything, I heard it all too. Can I ask what he was talking about with me allowing you to stay, and you being an Elemental Master?" Karasu nodded, wiping the tears from her eyes, taking a deep breath. "I'm the Elemental Master of Magic, and I can thank my grandmother on my mom's side for that, and I was worried that if you found out, you wouldn't let me stay, and that's where your other question comes in. Every time I meet a new tribe, a snake shaped mark appears on my hip, and yours was glowing earlier, meaning that if Lloyd leaves to find another tribe, or someone is kind enough to take him in, I can't go with him, I have to stay with you, because apparently my destiny is with the Serpentine. Someone once told me, that my destiny would lead me to finding my true potential, and I faintly think that my destiny might also lead to me finding my heart's desire. You're the only Serpentine I've ever told about this. I've just been too afraid to tell them. Considering I could tell that they were putting on an act, that only made it worse." Pythor just let it all sink in, before he finally responded. "Does that mean?" "I can tell you're putting on an act for Lloyd? Yes. But for some strange reason, when it's with me, it feels genuine, like you really mean it." Pythor gently cupped her face, something overcoming him. "M-Maybe it's because I do mean it." Karasu's eyes went wide, her heart pounding in her chest. "To me, you're the definition of beauty. Your hair looks like the perfect sunset. Your eyes look like they're made from the finest of emeralds. Your skin is like moon beams. Your voice sounds as sweet as sugar, rings like a silver bell, and is as smooth as silk. In my eyes, you're perfection Karasu. And I will allow you to stay, I've always believed in destiny, so if your destiny is with the Serpentine, then I'll help you follow the path it puts you on." "Thank you." Karasu stood, Pythor wrapping his tail around her waist once she was up, before tilting her chin up, making Karasu smile lightly, her sorrow and pain gone from her face. Their faces inching closer as the sun rose. Just before their lips met, someone interrupted. "Karasu, Pythor? What's going on?" Both pulled away, blushing madly. "L-Lloyd?! What are you doing up?" They young boy looked to his sister, taking notice of Pythor's tail around her waist. "I woke up, and didn't see Pythor, so I thought he might've been out here with you. And why is Pythor's tail around your waist?" Karasu looked down and saw the appendage was indeed still around her. Pythor happened to notice as well and released her. "That's not important. What is important is getting all that candy off your face." Karasu went to him, and pulled out a small jar, reading "Facial Wipes", and took a small pad out, rubbing the fruity wipe over his face, clearing it of any candy. "Umm, Karasu? Is there anyway you'd be willing to fly me and Pythor to Darkley's?" Karasu looked to her brother, and nodded, before looking to Pythor, as he turned his head away slightly, telling Karasu he was going to betray Lloyd today, Karasu looked back to Lloyd, holding back tears. "Lloyd, I need to ask you something. You know that no matter what happens or what I say, I will always love you with all my heart, right?" Lloyd nodded. "Good. I just wanted to make sure. Now, let's go." Karasu turned into a dragon, putting her wing down so it could be used like a ramp, seeing as Pythor wouldn't be able to get on the normal way because of his tail. Karasu felt them both mount, before she folded her wing. "Nobody's afraid of heights or going to get air sick are they?" Karasu got two no's in response, allowing her a sigh of relief. Karasu spread her wings, before taking off, going high into the air, flying above the clouds, and making it to the boarding school within a few hours. She allowed the two too dismount, while she hid in some nearby foliage, where she would wait till Pythor gave her the signal, and she would basically betray her brother. Karasu began to let her silent tears fall, not liking what was about to happen. Karasu watched and listened, ready to jump in if she had to, her golden wand at the ready. Within and few hours time, she heard him whistle for her, and followed the sound to it's source, meeting up with Pythor just near the front entrance, she allowed him to mount her, before taking off, using her powers to make sure they went undetected. Arriving at a far off forest by by nightfall, Karasu let Pythor off, before turning human, and bawling her eyes out, unhappy with what she just did. Like the night before, Pythor came to her side and provided her comfort, wrapping his tail around her, and holding her close, letting her cry, as Pythor hissed sweetly and soothingly. They stayed that way all through the night, with Karasu finally calming down just as the sun began to rise, hope rising with it.

A/N This chapter was so fluffy and cuddly, with the hurt/comfort that always seems to get me. And I actually cried a few times as I was writing this chapter. But my favorite character has made his appearance, so that helped a little. And I just had to put in that almost kiss, I was too caught up in the moment, and emotions where everywhere. Until next time, see ya.
