Just two days later Pythor, Karasu, and Skales were in the desert, trying to uncover The Lost City of Ouroboros, as Pythor called it, while the rest of the serpentine had been given orders that were unknown to Karasu, while said dragoness was lost in thought. And after six hours of digging, Pythor managed to uncover it, startling Karasu when the sand began to move, and the city started to appear, making her screech and rear up, with wings flapping wildly, causing Pythor to make a mad dash for her reigns, grabbing them and bringing her head down, starting to sooth her. Carefully petting her muzzle, and speaking softly, slowly calming the dragoness, with the only sign of panic being slightly flared wings and ruffled feathers. Pythor turned to Skales, hand still on Karasu's muzzle. "Karasu and I will be staying here for now. I want you to go and gather the others." Knowing better than to question him, Skales was soon off, leaving Pythor and Karasu alone. "Come Karasu. I want to check you for injuries or anything else that might be of concern, you play a very important role." As she was being lead off, a question that had been with Karasu for a while now, finally got the best of her, so when Pythor was taking a look at her wings, she finally let it out. "Pythor, what am I to you?" She held her breath waiting for an answer or to be yelled at. "Excuse me?" Karasu steeled herself, asking once more. "I said. What am I to you?" Karasu once again waited, wanting some form of an answer. "What do you mean?" Karasu turned human, and looked to Pythor, seeing confusion plastered on his face. "What do I mean to you? Am I just some pawn for you to command, or something more?" She heard him sigh, and braced herself for a scolding, squeezing her eyes shut, but a sudden gentle hand on her cheek, had them flying open. "I see you as something so much more. To me, you're one of a kind, and something special. To me, you're somebody who I want to be by my side for all eternity. I've fallen in love with you, and I want you to be mine." Karasu's eyes went wide, as Pythor continued to speak. "And I have a question of my own." He took both her hands in his own, and looked deep into her emerald eyes. "Karasu Uta Lanosa Meamora Cadensa Garmadon, would you do me the honor, of allowing me to court you?" Karasu smiled brightly, tears coming to her eyes. "Yes." Pythor leaned in, stopping just inches from her face, before crashing his lips into hers, feeling as Karasu began to kiss back, and her arms wrap around his neck, when they pulled away for air, the sound of the rest of the Serpentine arriving caught their attention, and Pythor was quick to act. What happened next, became a blur for Karasu, all she remembered were bits and pieces. A Slither Pit, the sacred flute, disruption, her brother, then her world going black. When Karasu came to, she found herself laying on a bed, with Pythor nearby, relief covering his face the moment he saw her eyes open. "You're alright! How do you feel?" Pythor was next to her in a moment, helping Karasu sit up, letting her lean against his chest. "I'm fine, just a little dazed, and a bit confused. Just what happened?" "You collapsed for no reason. I heard you gasp, then the next thing I knew, you were on the ground, you've been out all day. Has anything like this happened to you before?" It took a moment for Karasu to respond. "It has. I must've had a panic attack. I'm not sure what caused it, but I have an idea. I can barely remember what happened, so I'm not positive that's what triggered it. Did we actually discover Lloyd in the city? That's something that would affect me, and would more than likely cause me to panic." "We did. He's perfectly fine, I can assure you that. He's being guarded, so you have nothing to worry about." Pythor was about to continue, but was cut off by Karasu suddenly going to sleep, most likely from being relieved by the news. Pythor carefully shifted so he was laying on his side, and curled up around Karasu, taking one last look at her before going to sleep himself, promising to not let her out of his sight, he just wanted her to be safe.
