I clicked the flashlight on and ran away, leaving Matt alone in the mansion, I wiped the tears from my eyes and ran through the woods. My eyes caught something, a big rock, more like a boulder. If I found the first page on a big tree, what if the second was on a big rock? I started running but suddenly stopped when I heard a noise, footsteps. I hid behind a tree and looked back at the rock, I spotted the page on it, but I knew it wouldn't be that easy. I saw Slenderman walking around it, guarding it, I couldn't get it if he was there, he would see me. At least I know Matt's safe, for now. Matt, that's it! I scanned the ground until I found a big rock, I chucked it a few feet away from me then bolted away, when Slender went to it, I ran to the rock, I grabbed the page and looked at it. "Don't look...Or It TAKES You." I heard the clap of thunder again, then static, Don't look... I didn't look, I ran. Unfortunately he wasn't behind me, as I thought, he was in front of me, I ran into him and fell to the ground. He looked down at me, shocked, I guess he either thought I was dead or thought I was Matt. He started to reach his hand out to me but I sprinted away, I don't know what he would do if he saw I had another page, and I didn't want to find out. He was gaining fast, the static ringing in my ears rang louder, I saw a skinny tree and had an idea. I ran over to the tree, praying this would work, I hugged the tree and grabbed my own arms, not letting go. Slender ran up to me, grabbing my abdomen with one of his tentacles, he pulled but I wouldn't let go. He noticed the page in my hand and the static grew louder, he grabbed my arms and pulled, but I dug my nails into my arms and wouldn't let go. He gave up on my arms and grabbed my wrists, tugging too hard, tears streamed down my face, "No! Stop!" I cried, that only made him pull harder, "You're hurting me!" I cried, would he go easy on me? I suddenly realized what he was gonna do, and yes, he did it. A tentacle wrapped around my mouth and he kept pulling, I looked down at the knives in my pockets, I wanted to grab them and fight back, but I couldn't let go. I closed my eyes and cried, I didn't know how much longer I could hold on. I wrapped my legs around the tree and increased my grip, but he didn't stop pulling. Then a voice broke through, "Charlotte?!" I heard Matt cry from a distance. Me and Slenderman both instantly let go after hearing it, but his reflexes were faster than mine and he immediately wrapped another tentacle around my abdomen, but this time my hands were free. I grabbed the knives and stabbed the tentacle, it surprised him and the tentacle squirmed away, I quickly ran back towards the mansion, "Matt!" I shouted, I heard Slender close behind me. I saw Matt standing at the entrance of the mansion, in the hallway, he started crying when he saw me, then he started panicking when he saw what was behind me. I ran to him and threw myself in his arms, when suddenly my legs were both bounded my tentacles, "Charlotte! What do we do?!" Matt cried, I let go of him and went to stab the tentacle but then my arms were bound too. "Matt!" I cried to him, he tried to step closer, "No don't! Don't..." I thought to myself for a second, "Don't look or it TAKES you!" I screamed, throwing the page at him. He grabbed the page and started crying, "No Please!" suddenly a light reflected from my knife, sunlight. Slender looked at it and quickly pulled me up to him, he teleported behind Matt and pushed him out of the mansion. "Matt!" I cried, but then Matt started to fade away, "Charlotte that's it! I could never find the mansion, because it disappears in the morning!" the knives dropped from my hands, Slender was squeezing me too hard, "But where does it disappear to?!" I cried, Matt looked at me, "I guess you are gonna have to find out." and just like that, he disappeared, no, I disappeared. I looked down at one of the tentacles, covered in blood with two big holes in it. I looked up at Slender and gave a nervous chuckle, "Sorry?..." he was not happy. I frowned, "What are you gonna do to me?" I asked, he just stared at me, again, I didn't expect him to say anything, but it felt good to at least ask. He grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and scribbled something down, then when he was done he showed it to me, a page, a chill went down my spine and all remaining hope slithered out of my body. "Can't Run."
