It's been 4 days since I started studying for exams next week and nothing is stuck in my head! I keep forgetting all the important parts, the formulas, the dates-- EVERYTHING!

" I need that bracelet " I told myself. I really can't do anything without it! So I got up and went to Max's resto

" Good after noo- Woah ! Is that you Chachi?! What happened? Did your cat die?? " Max asked worriedly with a hint of amusement

" Oh shut it Max. " I said as I rolled my eyes

" I'm kidding. What happened?" he asked in a more sincere voice

I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair

" it's just-- I can't do it Max. I can't pass these exams without that bracelet. It's been like, my charm ever since I got it. I don't think I can do anything without it" he looked at me and opened his mouth but ended up closing it again. He just sighed and walked towards me as he patted my back

" you know Chachi, you-"

" PRINCESS! " max was cut off and our eyes averted directly to the owner of the voice

" ugh. It's you again.. " I mumbled

My eyes opened wide as he suddenly gave me a bear hug

" I MISSED YOU! HOW LOOONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE I SAW YOUR WONDERFUL FACE?! 3 MONTHS?!"
I immediately pushed him away and poked his forehead

" It's been like, 4 days, idiot"

" really? Cause for me, It felt like a century! " he said with a dramatic voice. I just rolled my eyes and ignored him

" wait, stay here! " he suddenly said as he went into the kitchen

" Wha-hey! Is he even allowed to go in there?! " I said frustrated

" oh, I forgot to tell you, he works here now" Max said and my eyes widened in surprise

" WHAT?! "

" YEP! " Mr. Rapist said as he placed a glass of sundae infront of the counter

" and he's an excellent employee " Max added. I just stood there as I gave them my are you kidding me? Look but they just laughed it off

" but why? " I asked

" well, when Kian went here last week, he found out that you were on a break and decided to work in place of you. " Max explained

" And I'm liking it" Mr. Rapist added as he pushed the glass towards me and wiggled his brows. I looked at the delicious looking sundae and back at him

" what? " I asked

" it's for you princess " he said with a smile

I looked at him with my brow raised as I examined the grace before me

" Don't worry, I'm paying for it. I just want to show off my cooking skills" he said arrogantly and I just rolled my eyes at him as I took a spoonful of the sundae
