Chanyeol

It had gone a week since Chanyeol had last seen Baekhyun. No matter what Chanyeol did, he still couldn't stop thinking of that kid. He even annoyed him mentally, and Chanyeol couldn't help but to fill his mind with him. Whenever he'd think of Baekhyun, he felt something...like regret. He probably shouldn't have been so hard on the kid. Maybe he scared him to death?

"You okay Chanyeol?" Jongin suddenly asked beside him, interrupting Chanyeol's thoughts.

"Yeah. Why?" he asked confused.

"Well, you've seemed pretty down this past week," Jongin commented. Chanyeol sighed. Was it that obvious? Was it that visible? "Plus Junmyeon told me that he had heard you talk on the phone a week ago during the break with someone. You said you'd text them your address, so we concluded you'd meet someone," he said with a grin. Why did they have to hear that? "What happened? Did you get dumped?"

Chanyeol's eyes widen and he glared at Jongin. "Dumped? Me? Do I look like a person who'd get dumped?" he hissed, and Jongin flinched. "It wasn't a date anyways; who'd date that guy?" Chanyeol growled, mostly talking to himself than Jongin. "He's just a kid, no way," he still protested, although Jongin closed his mouth long time ago. "He's just an annoying brat."

When Chanyeol glanced to the side again, Jongin was already gone. He hadn't noticed it was break time already. He sighed to himself as he rested his head in his hands that was supported by his desk.

Maybe I am going crazy? Crazy for thinking about that useless punk...

Baekhyun

It had been a week without Baekhyun had talked, or seen, Chanyeol again. He didn't think he actually would've been thinking about him. He didn't think he'd be on his mind continuingly.

He didn't think he'd miss him.

"You should see him again if it's bothering you that much," Kyungsoo commented whilst they were eating by their usual lunch table in the cafeteria.

Baekhyun frowned at Kyungsoo. "Why would I do that?"

Kyungsoo rolled his eyes. "It's obvious Baek. I can see through you that you want to see him again. You can't fool me even if you're fooling yourself."

That made Baekhyun think. Kyungsoo was right; he had been thinking of Chanyeol a lot, and it had been bothering him. He was bothered that he couldn't just go casually back to him. He was bothered he hadn't called or texted him. He was bothered he actually wanted to see him again.

After thinking the idea over and over again after his school day had finished, Baekhyun finally made up his mind. I'll go to his apartment. He got up from his bed, grabbed his wallet, and took the train and ended up in front of Chanyeol's apartment again. He was about to knock, but then he regretted it. This was a stupid idea, he thought to himself, he'd reject me without any hesitation. Before Baekhyun could turn around and walk away without been detected, the door opened. Chanyeol stood there with big wide eyes, staring surprised at him.

"Baekhyun?" he muttered shocked. Baekhyun felt relieved he remembered his name, or even him himself.

"H-Hi," Baekhyun stuttered, and mentally slapped himself for doing so.

"What are you doing here?" Chanyeol asked as he closed the door behind him after Baekhyun moved so he could get out. He was going somewhere.

"Nothing," he muttered, knowing he came there at the wrong time. He looked down to avoid Chanyeol's gaze and turned around to walk away, but Chanyeol grabbed his arm.

"You want something to eat?" he asked with a low voice, like he was thinking he was crazy for asking.

"Aren't you going somewhere?" Baekhyun asked.

"Yeah, to grab some food, Chanyeol laughed. It was the first time Baekhyun had heard him laugh, and he liked it.

"Sure," he said and they both went to a small café. Chanyeol ordered a coffee and a sandwich, whilst Baekhyun ordered soda and a hamburger. When they both started to eat, Baekhyun couldn't help but to observe Chanyeol whilst he ate, but of course looked away when Chanyeol looked back at him.

"What did you want anyways?" he asked, but in a softly tone. It was new to Baekhyun to hear him laugh and talk with a soft voice. Even his eyes were looking softly. Last time, he looked like he could murder anyone who'd just talk to him. Why did I want to meet an asshole like that anyways? To find out that he wasn't like that after all?

"I was just, uh..." Baekhyun started. He was too embarrassed to tell him. He'd just laugh at me. "I just wanted to ask you if you...wanted to, maybe, eh..." He looked down at his plate to avoid his eyes that was staring at him. Why was he so nervous? Why couldn't he say anything? "If you wanted to go bowling or something," Baekhyun finally let out. When he glanced back up, Chanyeol was still staring, but he was more surprised now. Shit, he's going to laugh. But he didn't.

"Bowling?" he asked, "with you?" He was smirking. It wasn't a laugh, but not a soft smile either. It was a teasing, amused, smirk.

"I mean..." Baekhyun hesitated, avoiding his gaze again. "I mean...yeah."

There was silence. "Okay."

Baekhyun's eyes shot right up at Chanyeol again. "Really?" he asked surprised.

"Why not," he replied with his smirk again, "might be fun."
