I was still frozen in my spot, breath stuck in my throat. He was just standing there looking at me.
"What's wrong, baby?" The guy I was dancing with asked me, snapping me out of my starring.
"I-I gotta go" I clasped my purse tighter and run out of the building, as I got to the door and opened it.
There he was again, the other side of the street, the red hair that I thought I would beer see again. His eyes were locked on mine, not a limb in his body moved.
I took a few steps forward to the road, looking both way, nothing was coming. I made my way to the other side of the street.
The street light flickered off and back on and then he was gone
