Ashley's eyes flickered and she squinted from the light, she slowly opened them only then realising the pain in her right ankle and her head. Tyler and Shay stood next to the bed both looking down at her, 'you're awake' shay whispered as Ashley squinted again 'w..what, where am I?', her voice was hoarse like it hasn't been used in a while. She turned her head slightly only to wince in pain, Tyler took hold of her hand and shook his head 'don't move ash'. She looked up at him, he looked different. His hair was a mess, he looked like he hadn't slept and his eyes didn't have the sparkle that they usually did. 'what happened?' She asked quietly, 'you were in a car accident' shay said gently running her hand through Ashley's hair 'you were drunk and your car hit the central reservation, you've been out for just over a week'. everything came flooding back to her, the car, the phone call, the accident, her getting drunk, the fight she had with Tyler, the baby. She lay there quietly before simply shutting her eyes again, the lights were giving her headache. Tyler gently kissed her forehead 'get some rest baby', he and shay sat back in their chairs as Ashley fell back to sleep.

it wasn't long before Ashley heard muffled voices, she opened her eyes to see Sasha, Lucy, troian, shay and Marlene standing next to the bed, Sasha had tears stains on her cheeks whilst the other three just looked pissed. she shut her eyes again before any of them noticed but she listened to what they said.

S - look i don't know what happened but it fucked her up real bad
t - I can't imagine what it's like to lose a baby but to drink and drive, especially her I mean
L - we just have to be there for her
S - I think she had a fight with Tyler as well, that's what set it off
Sa - with Tyler? But they never fight
S - she was pissed that he wasn't blaming her for the..
L - but it's not her fault
S - she doesn't see it that way, she blames herself

Tears fell down from Ashley's eyes as she tried to stay as quiet as possible, the girls continued their conversation as Sasha reached over slyly and held Ashley's hand, she squeezed it gently and Ashley squeezed it back. She loved Sasha, they didn't spend as much time together anymore but Ashley was always there for her when she needed anything and now she was going to return the favour.

'Why don't you guys go and get coffee and I'll stay here and let you know if anything changes?' Sasha said to the other three. They nodded and gathered their things going out the room still deep in discussion. 'They're gone ash' Sasha said quietly and Ashley opened her eyes, they were red and bloodshot, still filled with tears. Sasha climbed onto the bed and wrapped her arms around Ashley, 'I love you baby'.
