That night, i lied in bed unable to sleep.
I couldn't stop thinking about ben. If he was at support group he must of had it hard like me. You see, only people who the government thought needed the support group went to it.
I looked over at Judy who was sleeping in my room, I'm so glad we could save her. She started to stir. I got up and picked her up from her cot. I sang her a song my momma taught me.
"You gottw be strong,
Through it all.
Dont be scared,
You got friends out there.
Dont be scared,
Little one, little one."
Soon Judy was back to sleeping. I turned on my heals feeling very proud if getting her sleep. There stood beth smiling. "You've got a talent there, miss Bri." She whispered.
"Pfft, me? No never!" I said quietly.
Now i was tired. Thinking about momma all ways made me tired.
"Beth can we just go back to bed?" I said getting into my bed.
Once beth left, i was ready for tears to drop. But they didn't. Then i rembered i wasnt human.
And i fell asleep feeling like that.
