It was the last day of August. I was just dropping Joanna off in her new school to get settled in before it began tomorrow. She somehow managed to get a dorm room with her friend that goes to this boarding school. She's been elated since she found out she got accepted and could go. I'm honestly happy for her.

Niall carried her bags in for her, which was a precarious task to take on, considering the fact that there are an abundance of prepubescent girls here who would probably scream and run after him if they saw him. He had a hat on, his hood up and sunglasses on, not a very cunning disguise but it done the trick. The girls didn't even give him a second look, which was a change.

Niall put down Joanna's bags, which in all honestly wasn't much- for a girl. She isn't very materialistic, she only took the bare minimal really.

I helped her unpack while Niall sat on his phone, playing some game with irritating sound effects. "Hey Jo, I wanna talk." I say when we're done. I perched myself on her new bed and took her hands in mine, sitting her down next to me. ]

"Should I be scared?" She tentatively asked, raising an eyebrow at me. I shook my head quickly in dismissal.

"No, no, this is good. Promise." I smiled and she did look a little relieved. "Okay, so, Niall and I will be getting married in I don't know when, we haven't chosen a date. But anyways, Dad won't be walking me down the aisle, as you could probably guess. We barely talk and he can't give me away. I mean he always gave me away years ago when he never bothered with me. I don't want mum to walk me down either. I don't feel it would be right. So that's why I want to ask you, if you'd walk me down the aisle. You're the only one in this family that is really going to have to give me away I guess." My voice quietens as the sentences rears to a end. Her whole face lit up when I asked her, it was a elating sight.

"You mean it?" She excitedly asked, starting to bounce up and down excitedly. I nodded and smiled.

"Yeah, would you?" I asked and she screamed and then hugged me tightly. Niall smiled fondly as he watched the two of us. I had spoke to him with it prior, he told me it was a brilliant and cute idea.

"Of course I would love to!" She squealed and jumped up and down excitedly on her bed. "Oh my God, I'm so excited." She basically screamed. Niall chuckled at how excited she appeared. I was glad to be the one who was making her this excited.

"I'm glad." I grinned and hugged her again. She looked over at Niall and squealed again.

"You're still sure about it?" She asked and I chuckled, nodding.

"Yes Joanna, I am positive I want you to be the one who walks me down the aisle." I said and reached over kissing her cheek before standing up. "Okay, we need to get going to be back to go to bed, we have lots of wedding planning to do tomorrow after your interview Niall." I nudged him.

"I'm gonna miss you." Joanna pouted, walking over and wrapped her arms around me for another embrace. I hugged her tightly and then pulled back after a few minutes.

"Okay, you be good, if you ever need anything you have my number, I'll come whenever you want. Doesn't matter where in the world Niall and I are, okay?" I say to her and she nodded. We said our goodbyes and Niall put on his hat and sunglasses again, although this time he didn't get away so easily.

A girl recognised him and screamed, running over to him, causing more girls to come as well. We basically got mobbed by a group of screaming teenage girls but somehow,  managed to make it to the car without getting murdered which was always a good thing.

"Fuck." Niall cursed, running a hand through his hair once we got into the car. "I thought we'd never get away from them." He placed a hand over his chest and chuckled. "Right, home we go." He declared as he turned on the car.
