"Oi! Chinboy, come on!" Clara shouted over the rumble of the earthquake.
"Just a second!" He called back over his shoulder before finishing sonicing the door and starting to turn around.
Clara ducked into the TARDIS as the roof of the building collapsed. When it was safe, all the ruble had settled, she ran out tripping on a large chunk of of concrete. She pulled herself back up and went to the Doctor a bit more carefully but just as quickly.
"Okay, bad idea. Should've sonic'd the roof. Ow." The Doctor winced as he spoke since a block of the roof was on his leg, crushing it.
Clara lifted the object off as fast as her muscles would allow and let it fall onto it's other side. "I told you to run."
"I didn't listen." He replied poking at his leg and scrunching his face as he found it bloodied and broken. "Some help up?"
"Yehp." She pulled him up with difficulty and helped him into the TARDIS which had placed, very conveniently, a pair of crutches by the door.
The Doctor used the crutches to hop to his ward. Clara followed in case he needed help bandaging his leg and because she had the feeling that the TARDIS was very angry at her. When they reached the ward the Doctor bandaged his leg, with help from Clara.
"I guess we can't go anywhere for a while" He frowned at their predicament and his cast.
"Suppose so Chinny." She smiled. "We're stuck."
"What about being stuck makes you happy?" He asked raising his head to look at her with confusion. She had gotten scraped on the cheek and her clothes were tattered and fraying.
"It's just nice to have some downtime, not running for my life."
He nodded. "You humans and your silly whims." He joked.
"I'm only human." She said giving him a once over. He had broken his leg, one sleeve of his jacket was ripped off, his bowtie was slanted and his trousers were cut so his leg could be bandaged.
He grinned. "We're stuck, in a spaceship, alone." That delighted him for some reason he didn't feel like thinking up.
"Down boy."
