Chapter 7 "Lady Liberty"

Ricky's POV:

  Tonight is the night it's all going to happen.

I'm spending the whole day with Amy.

Our new friends are going to watch John.

I kissed Amy to wake her up.

I think she was a little mad so I told her to get ready and that we are going out for breakfast.

Amy's POV:

Ricky woke me up at 6:30.

I didn't understand why.

I went into John's room and I couldn't find him.

"Ricky where is John." I yelled from our bedroom.

"It's just you and me today baby!" Ricky responded.

I was so confused, but Ricky new where John's was so it's okay.

Ricky's POV:

After we ate breakfast it was about eight and we went to the waterfront.

We went to walk on the boardwalk around 11-ish.

We ate lunch at two and around 4:30 we headed to the ferry.

We had to wait about two hours to get on the ferry.

Amy's POV:

We got to The Statue of Liberty at 6:30.

We waited for the Empire State Building to light up.

Ready for eight Ricky told me to close my eyes.

A timer went off and he told me when I open my eyes and to look right at the Empire State Building.

" Open your eyes" Ricky said as he got down on one knee.

Amy read the sign out loud as other people gathered around.

"Amy Jurgens, will you marry me?" Amy said as she cried tears of joy.

"Yes Rickey Yes" Amy said.

Ricky's POV:

Once I heard that yes.

I got the ring on her finger and kissed her.

Everyone cheered.

The first thing Amy asked was how much did it all cost.

I just laughed as we walked onto the ferry.
