Applejack was not the fancy type. She didn't enjoy pink lip gloss and high studded heels like her newly made friend Rarity, but staring I to the mirror, she awed at how un-simplistic she looked.

Her hair cascaded down her shoulder, past her breast, voluminous and shiny.

A row of small, flowers dawned her head, a flower crown if you will, and graced her features with a soft parting of the hair, in which the flowers looped.

She was princess like, to say the very least, which was quite the endearing statement.

"Wow... Ah... Ah don't know what ta' say... Thank ya' so much, Rarity," Applejack finally spoke, turning her head to soak in every angle through the mirror.

Rarity simply smiled, admiring her handiwork.

Standing up, AJ inspected her white summer dress, as it's plain, dull usual look was some how blocked out with beauty by a simple change of hair style.

But then, her eyes met with the gauze on her arm.

"Listen, this was such the help, but I think ya'll better go," she said, ushering Pinkie and Rarity to the door.

"Oh, but hold on, dear! My suitcase!"

Pressing the button on the side once more, Rarity watched as the table whirred into a suitcase again.

"Thanks again. Ah really appreciate it," Applejack called as Pinkie and Rarity split ways at the driveway.

Closing the door, Applejack sighed, leaning against the cedar wood.

"Ah had better change these here bandages, so the cuts don't get so infected," Applejack told herself, walking down the hall into the restroom.

Standing over the sink, she slowly began to unravel the bandages carefully.

Cold air met healing cuts, and she hissed in pain, grinding her teeth.

The pain shot up to her shoulder, making it abrupt and, of course, well, painful.

Applejack ignored it, trying to focus on other things, like predicting how the date would ensue.

Trying not to expect the worst, she began spreading the gauze on the scanned over cuts, and winced.

She wondered what Dash would wear. A tux? A dress? She hoped it was at least the same as hers. But she also doubted it. Dash had a high confidence that Applejack just didn't obtain in her.

Wrapping the bandages firm enough to cover it, but just enough so it didn't cut off blood circulation, she put the equipment in the cabinet mirror.

Studying herself once more, and feeling extra princess-y, she patrolled into the living room to wait another hour for her Knight in Rainbow Armor.
