You kept an eye on your surroundings as you made your way into Wade's locker room. You'd meet up in secret whenever possible, it was what worked best for the 'friends with benefits' arrangement you had

"Stop!" You shrieked as Wade grabbed hold of you and sucked on your neck "You're gonna give me a hickey"

''I'm just letting everyone know that your taken'' Wade replied

''I'm not taken Wade, you have to actually leave your girlfriend for that to happen'' You reminded him

All though you had agreed it was just sex, you had inevitably fallen in love him and you'd told Wade. He had told you that he felt the same way and was planning on leaving his girlfriend so that you could make it official

"I told you (Y/N), i'm waiting for the right time" 

Wade had been promising to leave his girlfriend for months and his constant excuses for not being able to leave her were starting to annoy you. You pushed him away from you and he reached out to pull you closer but you slapped his hands away

''I'm sick of your excuses. I'm starting to feel like you don't want to break up with her''

''Of course I do" Wade argued "It's just hard. With my schedule. I don't get to see her for weeks or sometimes months at a time and when I do see her, she's all over me'' 

Wade was getting the best of both worlds and it was eady to understandwhy he didn't want to choose ''Oh I get it now. You're getting sex from both of us so why change it right?"

''No, that's not how it is at all, I-"

''Just leave it Wade'' You left the room and hurried back to your own locker room

You packed everything up, eager to get to your hotel room and as far away from Wade as you could. As you entered the parking lot you didn't even hear Seth's voice as you rushed towards your car

''(Y/N) are you ignoring me?'' Seth asked as he caught up with you

''What are you talking about?'' you asked as you side stepped him and continued to walk towards your car

''I've been calling your name and you didn't stop'' Seth said, following you

You made it to your car and unlocked it, throwing your bags into the back of the car ''I didn't hear you that's all'' 

''Where's the fire?" Seth asked as he stood there and watched you "Would you just stop for a second and talk to me'' 

You stood still in front of him ''Okay, I'm listening'' 

You had completely forgot about the hickey that Wade had left on your neck and Seth noticed it almost immediately, pointing at it ''Is that a hickey?'' 

''It's nothing'' you lied 

''I'm not stupid (Y/N)'' 

''So what if it is!" You said "I'm allowed to have a love life"

Seth put his hands out in front of him in a submissive manner ''Whoa take it easy, I was only asking!'' 

Seth was one of your best friends and didn't deserve to be on the end of your bad temper "I'm sorry"

"What's going on?" Seth asked, sensing something was bothering you

The only problem was that you couldn't tell him because what you and Wade had was a secret

You were laying on your bed in your hotel room and couldn't stop thinking about Wade. You had come to realise that your feelings towards him were one sided and you felt like a fool, like you had been used. As you heard a knock at the door you sighed, convinced it was Wade with yet another excuse

''GO AWAY WADE I'M NOT IN THE MOOD'' You shouted

'UM IT'S NOT WADE. IT'S SETH'

Shit you thought as panic started setting in. You pulled yourself off the bed and opened the door 

''Hey. Is now a bad time?'' Seth asked as soon as the door was opened

Your phone beeped before you could answer him and you picked it up to see that Wade had sent you a text

''Wade and I have been having sex for the last few months'' you confessed as you sat back down on your bed

''What?" Seth said, clearly confused "I thought he had a girlfriend'' 

''He does but he promised to break up with her and he didn't'' you replied 

''So, wait a second" Seth said, trying to make sense of the situation "Are you having an affair?''

''No it was more of a friends with benefits arrangement'' you explained

''Isn't that the same thing?''

''I suppose'' you agreed ''I broke the golden rule though and caught feelings. He just ended it"

"He ended it because you fell in love with him?" Seth asked

"No he told me he loved me too" you clarified "He ended it because he wasn't prepared to leave his girlfriend"

Seth sat down beside you on the bed and reached for your hand "That's messed up. He has no right to mess with your feelings like that"

"But he did it anyway" you added

"Don't let him win" Seth said "Move on and be happy with someone else, someone better''

"It's not that easy" you pointed out "I care about him"

Seth sighed ''You have no idea how much I hate hearing you say that'' 

You turned around to face him ''Why?''

''Because I love you. I have done for years'' Seth admitted
