You finally had a moment to yourself, the first since you woke up that morning and you took the opportunity to properly take a look at yourself in the mirror. Your wedding had been planned for months, the flowers, music, venue, cake, rings and reception had all been picked out in advance and your feet had hardly touched the ground
"You look beautiful"
His voice came out of nowhere and he was the last person you expected to see
"What are you doing here Seth?" His mere presence was bringing back memories of the reason your relationship ended
"I couldn't let you get married without at least trying to change your mind"
You let out a bitter laugh. He'd cheated on you and now he was standing in front of you, trying to ruin what was suppose to be the happiest day of your life
"Is this some kind of sick joke?" You were so angry you felt like screaming "First you cheat on me, then you leave me for another woman and once I finally find happiness you and try and ruin it for me!?''
''Can you honestly tell me that you don't love me anymore?" He asked
If you hadn't just spent hours getting your nails, make-up and hair done you would have slapped him, possibly attempted to push him out the room
"HOW DARE YOU!!" you yelled "HOW DARE YOU TURN UP HERE AND SAY THAT AFTER EVERYTHING YOU DID TO ME"
You were sure that everyone could probably hear you but you didn't care
Seth moved closer to you "Look I'm sorry okay but I love you and-"
"Stay the hell away from me" you warned "I don't want you touching me"
The door to your room flew open and your fiancée walked in. He moved to stand by your side as he looked at Seth "What's going on. Why are you here?"
Your fiancée knew all about you and Seth's history and he was understandably protective of you in his presence
"I'm here to make sure that (Y/N) doesn't make the biggest mistake of her life by marrying you" Seth answered
It all happened so fast and before you knew it your fiancée's fist was connecting with Seth's face
"Babe dont" you said, placing a hand on his shoulder "He's not worth it"
"NO. THE WEDDING'S OFF (Y/N) HE'S FUCKING WON!!" he yelled as he left the room
"What!?" You asked following him "What do you mean 'he's won'?''
You were met with the door being slammed in your face. Everything was ruined and it was a Seth's fault
"What gives you the right to do this to me?" you asked as your mascara ran down your face "Is cheating on me not enough, do you have to ruin my life as well?''
''I never meant for this to happen" Seth replied as he checked his reflection in the mirror
"Sure you didn't'' you replied
Seth knelt down in front of you "I never stopped loving you. I should have never cheated''
He placed his hand on your knee and you quickly removed it again "Well it's to late now''
"Look I'm sorry and I know I'm being selfish right now but you're the only woman for me" For the first time since he arrived you looked at him straight in his eyes "I can't just stand by and let you get married to another man''
You found it hard to listen to him. You were embarrassed, angry, annoyed and sad all at the same time
''Look at you'' he continued as he wiped away some stray tears ''You're so beautiful and i was such a fool. I should have never let you go''
It was all too little too late, you needed to hear this from him when you were still single, not when you had already given your heart to another man. You hated how he still had a hold over you
"If you can look me straight in the eye right now and tell me that you don't love me anymore, then i'll leave. I'll leave and never bother you again''
The asshole knew you couldn't do that, he knew that deep down you still loved him and your silence seemed to give him the answer he needed
