You were the daughter of a WWE legend and spent a lot of time hanging out backstage. As a result you grew close to Seth, after instantly hitting it off. You made each other laugh, you had similar interests and you had become very close. What you didn't know however, was that Seth had feelings for you but was reluctant to ask you out because of who your dad was
''Bro. You ask girls out all the time what makes (Y/N) so different?''
Seth was hanging out with Dean and Roman and you were the topic of conversation as Seth once again complained to them about not being able to take your relationship to the next level
''Dean (Y/N) is different because her freaking dad happens to be Kane!!'' Seth explained
''And?''
''And I don't feel like being beaten up for asking his daughter out''
''Why would he beat you up?'' Roman asked
''Well we haven't exactly got on in the past and I'm damn sure he wouldn't want me anywhere near his daughter''
''Look man if you care about her as much as you say you do then you have to fight for her'' Roman pointed out ''Talk to Kane and tell him how you feel. As a father, I know that the most important thing in the world is that your child is happy, and if he thinks that you can give that to her he will be fine, trust me''
* * * Seth
''Well what are you waiting for?'' Dean asked as he pulled me out of my seat and pushed me towards the door
''You better be right about this uce'' I shouted as I left the room and searched for Kane
I was approaching Kane's locker room when I saw (Y/N) sat on a crate just outside his room, she was crying and when she saw me she stood up and started to walk away, but I ran after her standing in front of her to stop her in her tracks
''What's wrong, why are you crying?''
''Me and my dad had a fight'' she replied
''About what?''
''Y-you''
''Me?''
She nodded ''I...like you and I told my dad and he went crazy''
''You like me? As in like me like me?'' I couldn't resist the urge to smile as she nodded ''I like you too''
''You do?'' She asked
''I have done for a while but I'll admit that i was scared of asking you out, because of your dad''
''Me too'' she admitted ''I thought that if i spoke to him first he might be okay with it, but he wasn't''
''How about we go and speak to him together?'' I suggested
''Do you really think that would work though?'' She asked unsure
''I don't know but it's worth a try right?'' I answered with a smile, taking hold of her hand
She agreed and we both made our way into his locker room. As soon as we stepped foot in the door however, Kane came rushing towards us. He pulled (Y/N)'s hand away from mine as he got in my face
''You keep your slimy little hands off my daughter!!''
''Dad pleas-''
''Stay out of this (Y/N)'' Kane snapped
''Look I haven't come here to fight with you" I said "I just want to talk to you for a second. Man to man''
''I'm listening'' he replied although he had failed to back up
''I know you don't particularly like me and I doubt that you ever will but I really care about your daughter and-''
''And what?'' Kane asked
''I know she cares about me too'' I said looking over to her, smiling softly as she moved closer to me ''I know that I can make her happy and give her everything she could possibly want in life and I just want you to give me a chance, let me prove to you that I am suitable for your daughter''
Kane took a few moments to consider my words and (Y/N) took hold of her dad's hand ''Please Dad''
He let go of her hand ''You're right. I don't particularly like you and I probably never will'' He looked at (Y/N) and his expression softened ''But (Y/N) is happy when she's around you and as a dad, seeing her happy is the most important thing to me. So you have my blessing''
(Y/N) hugged me
''BUT!!'' Kane continued ''If you so much as harm a hair on her head, I will personally make sure to end your career''
(Y/N) lead me out of the room and i wrapped my arms around her waist ''I'd never hurt you. You know that right?''
''Yeah I know'' she said with a smile ''I love you Seth''
I swore I felt my heart swell and my smile was so wide it hurt ''I love you too''
