New girl in class:
Josh's P.O.V:

Chris and I were talking while the teacher told the class something.
We just came back from winter break, I almost forgot how boring Grade 3 was.
" Class, class, I have some news " the teacher shouted.
I turned and faced the front.
The teacher look towards the door and smiled.
A girl walked in.
She had short hair, a blue shirt that said ' If I wasn't here, I'd be happy ', a pair of black tights, and grey sneaker.
" Woah... " I stared at her.
" This is our new student, Lucy Lostler "
The girl gave a glace to me, then looked at the teacher.
" Lucy Virra Lostler " she said.
Her voice was so soft, calming, beautiful.
She walked over to the back, sitting right beside me.
" Hey " she said.
I smiled, staring into her eyes.
" Hi my name's Josh " I said.
The day went on normally, then when I started walking home, she walked with me.
" Why you heading this way? " I asked.
" I live this way " She said.
Me and her walked for a bit, I found out she moved into the place right beside me. I could tell, she was a good person.

It's not your fault
Josh's P.O.V:

It was Lu's birthday, she's turning 14 today.
She was throwing it at our house because her parents weren't going to be home.
They never really were home I guess. Lucy was almost always at our place, and I know her parents didn't like me but that wasn't why they were never home.
Lucy was sitting on the steps, she was wearing the shirt I got her yesterday.
It said ' Josh's Star '.
I called her that sometimes, just cause she'd sometimes says ' We are stars, you are mine and I am yours. And if one of us goes out, we both do ' , aside from the shirt she was wearing blue shorts, green high tops and her hair in a braid.
" Lucy, what's up? " I asked, sitting next to her.
" Is it my fault? " she asked, looking down.
I didn't know why she said that, but it hurt me knowing she felt like something was her fault.
" What? " I asked.
" D-did I do something.... Am I not good enough for them?! Why are they never here for me..!?!....what did I do....? " she said, tears forming in her eyes.
The minute I saw that, I hugged her tightly, holding her close.
" Lucy...its not you fault...its never gonna be your fault.. Your parents are assholes...! " I was getting mad at her parents for making her feel this way. After a while if hugging, I calmed down.
" Hey Lucy? Wanna sleepover tonight? " I asked, stroking her hair.
" C-can we watch movies, and eat ice cream and pizza?... " she asked.
I chuckled and kissed her head.
" Yeah, we can ".

Prom
Josh's P.O.V

It was prom, Hannah,Beth,Mike, Matt,Jessica, Emily, Chris, and Ashley were ready and waiting in the limo, I was standing at Lucy's door. I tried to knock but I froze.
" Do it Josh! " Mike shouted.
I took a deep breath and knocked.
Lucy opened the door and I swear as soon as I saw her I died and went to heaven for a second.
She was wearing a white strapless dress that went to the middle of her thigh, Black,silver,and white eye shadow, her hair was down and in curls, she was wearing white high heals that made her the exact same height as me, and silver fingerless gloves.
" Hey Josh! " she said, hugging me.
I hugged back and smiled.
" Okay lets get in the limo "I said, grabbing her hand.
We went to the limo and got to school quick.
" Hey Joshy? " Lucy said holding my hand.
" Yeah Lu? " I looked into her eyes.
She hugged me.
" Can we have a sleepover after prom? " she asked.
I smirked and hugged her back.
" Yeah okay "
Everything was going well, then Jess walked over to us.
" Yo what's going on? " she asked, sipping on her punch.
Lucy moved away from her.
" Nothing " she said.
Jess smiled and looked at me. She walked over and kissed my cheek.
Lucy lightly pushed her away.
" Drunk? " she asked.
" No! Shut up! " Jess shouted, she was so Drunk.
" Well go bug someone else please, cause if I do recall last week you said you fucking hated me and never wanted to be near me again " Lucy said, putting her hands on her hips.
" I don't wanna be near you, not my fault Josh hangs out with you! Huh hottie " she said, nudging me.
" Okay, okay go away Jess " Lucy said.
Jess glared at her.
As she was walking she "tripped" and spilt punch all over Lucy's dress.
And the thin white fabric was so went you could see her black bra.
I just stared at her, blushing and biting my lip.
Matt handed her his jacket and me and Lucy left.
I was still just starring at her.
" I.Fucking.HATE.Jess " she said as we got to my house "
