The man she had just got done fighting gave her a nod of respect and then left. Reanee slid to the floor and sat down while Jacob left. Jacob came back and sat next to her with two trays of food. They ate.

"Who was that?" Reanee asked, when they were alone again.

"That was David, my brother. You have no need to worry. You have his respect. That is extremely rate. I have it and so does King Andrew. Not many others have it," Jacob answered.

Reanee nodded and a knock on the door was heard.

"Come in!" Jacob announced and David came in and closed the door.

Reanee sensed David's arrogance, but knew he could be trusted with anyone he respected and trusted. She also sensed that even though Jacob and King Andrew were in both categories, she was not yet since she had not been around long enough to gain his trust yet. This information did not bother her as much as it would have in the past. She could understand that the King and Family would come first. David sat by his brother.

"Jacob told me you have been assigned with the King's protection," David replied.

Reanee nodded, "I did not sign up, but I will try my best. I have a lot to learn, but I am willing."

David nodded.

"OK, lets get started," David announced.

Throughout the trip, she learned to fight, gained information about the King, his people, and their customs, even their animal secrets.

The night before they arrived, Reanee fell asleep exhausted onto the cot.

"Do you think Andrew's mother was correct and n trusting this female with her son's life and the life of his people?" Jacob asked.

"I have hope," David replied, nodding.

"What did that spell see in her?" Jacob wondered.

"She is a protector. You can see it in her eyes. I believe she will defend with her life, if she seems them worthy," David replied.

"So, I guess the question is, will Reanee truly be willing to protect our King," Jacob whispered.

"I guess we will find out... There is something powerful about her... I suppose in a way of her own if that makes any sense," David whispered.

"I felt that too I think," Jacob agreed.

Jacob and David settled down in their cots and fell asleep.

The next morning, Reanee got off the ship with her suitcase while Jacob and David stayed at her side. She was extremely nervous. They got in a carriage and rode to the palace. The palace was huge. They were led to a throne room.
