"KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN! STAY WITH US!" Reanee ordered.

King Andrew obeyed, weakly as the doctor tried to drain the poison as his assistant tried to clean the King up. King Andrew moaned and his eyes fluttered again.

"STAY WITH ME! FOCUS ON MY EYES AND MY HAND!" Reanee ordered, as she placed her left hand against his head and looked directly into his eyes.

His eyes were in whitening at an increasing rate, but he kept his focus on her. As some time passed though, King Andrew found it harder to stay awake. Reanee leaned forward and searched for his soul. His soul light was dimming, so she linked her soul light to his. His eyes fluttered again only this time his soul light went out. Her soul put a flicker of life back in him. That flicker was the only thing keeping him alive. His eyes fluttered open again.

Jacob, David and an older woman, the King's mother ran in. Andrew's mother gently pushed her away. Reanee lost contact to his head and eyes but not the connection to his soul. Andrew's eyes fluttered closed, again.

"STAY UP! LOOK AT ME!" his mother ordered.

Andrew's eyes fluttered open, but it took a lot of effort. His mother pulled out a vile.

"It is Soulluss. You must drink this. It is the only medicine that can slow the poison down enough for you to be able to maybe find your mate before it kills you," his mother murmured.

"What if his soul's light has already died?" David asked.

"He would be dead already if that had happened. This acts like a sticky mat. It draws as much poison as it can hold, then it destroys itself. We can only give it to him weekly though. It just keeps the poison from being overpowering, which will give him some time to find his mate. Only a mate can completely drain the poison once they are both soulmates," his mother whispered.

She lifted her son's head and poured the medicine down his throat.  She laid him back down and he passed out. They took him to his room and put him to bed. David, Jacob and Reanee moved in next door, like they originally was post to.

After the King's mother, Lillian, was done settling her son, she burst into the guards room.

"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HIM!" Lillian yelled at Reanee.

"I did protect him as best I could! She aimed the knife at his heart. I am called her. If I had not it would have killed him automatically. Plus, the only reason he is still living right now is because his body is temporally using my soul. His dimmed out a few minutes before you guys arrived," Reanee informed.

Everyone went silent.
