I wake up to the buzz of a razor emitting from the bathroom. Rolling over onto the cold bed, I slowly open my eyes. Tobias stands at the mirror, shaving the limited scruff on his face. He's been neglecting to shave the past few days, so the a thin layer of facial hair had started to appear on his face. It's too bad; I thought it was attractive.

I close my eyes, appreciating our last week of freedom before the initiates come. It's been a few weeks since Tobias told me he loved me, but the memory is fresh as anything.

It's Sunday today, so we return to the Control Room tomorrow. Tobias and I haven't had much alone time together for the past week. Whether we were at the Pit or in the Control Room, we've had very little time together. I want to do something with him.

I stand up lazily from the bed and his shirt short on me and my legs almost completely exposed. The little mascara I put on last night for my night out with Chris has probably smudged all over my face making me look like I'm sleep-deprived. My blonde hair is probably a mess. Sexy, right?

The buzzing stops and I step in the bathroom just as Tobias set down the razor. He's wearing a dark-grey dappled shirt that's a little tight on him. My arms wrap around him from behind, one hand on his abs and the other on his chest. My chin rests soundly on his strong shoulder only because I stand on my tip-toes.

His head turns toward me and his voice is deep and very appealing when he says, "Morning."

"You want to go on a date?" I ask him out of the blue.

"Absolutely," he says.

My hands shift up and down, feeling his muscles through the shirt. He stares at our reflection and smiles. I place my lips against his neck softly and then whisper, "Be ready in 20 minutes."

I walk out and roll my eyes, knowing that he's looking at my butt on the way out. Turning around briefly as I exited the door only confirmed that.

I quickly brush my hair and get dressed in a long sleeve black shirt, jacket, and long pants. Then I scurry to the bathroom to brush my teeth and rinse off the makeup from the night before. The mascara is still bad, but at least I don't look like a raccoon like I thought I did.

"Ready?" Tobias asks me at the door.

I nod, opening it and walking out before him. I lace my hand with his after he closes the door and locks it.

"Where exactly do you plan to take me, Miss Prior?" he asks.

"It's a surprise," I say, jumping up to press my lips to his briefly. Delighfully surprised, he kisses me back but seems disappointed when I pull away and continue walking.

We pass Christina and Will down the hall, and I pull her down one of the side hallways before Tobias can interject.

"I need your help," I say.

"Yeah?"

"I need you to go into my apartment and light some candles. Maybe make it look romantic while you're at it?"

"Ooh," she says, raising her eyebrows. "Is Trissy trying to get laid?"

"Christina! That's not my name and no I'm not trying to sleep with Four," I say in a hush, finalizing the route she led the conversation down.

"You sure? He probably wants to and you two love each other. What's the big deal? I bet it would be great, he looks like he's very strong--"

I interject, not liking the way the conversation went off track. "No, I'm not going to sleep with him yet. End of discussion."

"Why? Are you afraid or something?"

I roll my eyes and groan, furious with her. "Can you just make it look nice for me?" I say irritably.
