Thursday Night

Throughout the day, you visited everyone from the pack, well almost everyone. Kira was still with her family trying to figure out her supernatural powers, God knows where, and sadly, Eichen House wouldn't let you visit Lydia, as you weren't family or Stiles. It bummed you out but a part of you was relieved Lydia was okay, safe, and getting help.

It was strange to see Stiles without Malia. You didn't press on it too much; you just figured something happened between the two. When you asked where she was he said he didn't know. He hadn't spoken to her in a couple of days and it was not your place to ask anymore. You've been gone too long to be asking questions like it's your business. Besides, he was too upset with everything going on and trying to figure out where Theo was.

The last person you visited was Scott. When you got to his house, his mother immediately pulled you into a hug with tears in her eyes. She was so relieved you were okay. She took you to Scott's room, where you saw him sitting up on his bed and leaning against the headboard with Jackson and Isaac in the room.

The four of you caught up. Scott told you everything about what's been happening from the start. You knew most of it, but you knew he was doing it for the guys. When he got to the part after you left, you broke down. You constantly apologized to Scott for being so selfish and leaving him and the pack when they all needed you the most. He forgave you, as he understood why left in the first place, why all three of you left in the first place.

When you asked him about what happened between him and Liam at the library, Scott said he's not angry with Liam. He understood why his beta did something like that to him as he failed to keep his promise to Liam. It's something you should ask Liam about because Scott knows Liam is not only blaming himself for it, but also beating himself up over it.

It was a long day and you were ready to go back home. You were leaving tomorrow and you had to wash what little clothes you brought in your backpack and repack.

You closed and locked the door behind you. A deep sigh escaped from your lips as you leaned against the door and rolled your head back.

"Hey." Liam's voice made your head snap forward. You saw his head peeking out of your bedroom door.

"What are you doing here?" You asked as Liam walked out of your room in his grey sweats and a white muscle shirt. You noticed his arms had gotten a lot more muscular since you've last seen him.

"I thought we could have one last sleepover before you leave tomorrow." You noticed the hope in his eyes. He really did want to spend your last night with you. "And I was thinking maybe you can make your chocolate chip pancakes in the morning."

You hesitated for a second debating with the idea. Did you want to spend your last night with Liam as best friends and let it be the last good memory you would have with him? Would it be easy to fall back into those roles but making it so much more painful and harder when you say goodbye tomorrow? For once, you ignored all the questions running through your mind and what your heart would feel because you wanted to do something for yourself for once.

You smiled. "I'd love that, as long as you don't beg me to stay." Your smile falters a little bit. "Because I mean it when I say I'm leaving back to Paris tomorrow."

"Deal."

Before getting into a sleepover mode, you loaded the washer with your dirty clothes as planned. You really didn't have much of a choice as you wouldn't have anything clean to wear tomorrow for the flight. While you did that, Liam raided the kitchen. He came back with different types of snacks. In his arms he had a variety of cookies, chips, and candies, along with bottles of Gatorade to save y'all the trip of constantly going down stairs for more. You were surprised, with your dad gone half the time, that there was still food in your house. Turns out, Liam stocks up the pantry for himself when he stays over, and makes sure there's some food when your dad comes back in to town. You were touched that he was sort of looking out for your dad when he's home and you weren't around to do so.
