The old and the new

I woke up to see the sun shining on Damon's peaceful face, I layed there analyzing how truly beautiful he was. Damon and I didn't get much time together anymore, And I know we may not even get much time together now so I'm going to enjoy the little things, Like right now. I looked at Damon who looked like he was at complete peace, He laid there perfectly still with his arm behind his head. I smiled to myself, Realizing how lucky I truly was to be with someone so.. Perfect.

I got up out of the bed quietly making sure not to wake Damon, Wanting to go check and see how Jeremy was doing. I slipped on my blue cardigan and looked over at the bed to see Damon no longer laying there. I turned around  to look infront of me, jumping as I seen Damon standing there ''Boo.'' Damon said smiling a cocky smile at me as he stood there infront of me, I narrowed my eyes at him as I shook my head with a small smile, Trying to hide the fact that I was smiling. ''I seen that smile.'' Damon said with a brilliant white smile as he pointed at my mouth. I shook my head at him once more as I gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. ''I'm sorry we haven't go to spend much time together.'' I told him looking rather sad, Damon moved a strand of dark brown hair out of my face as he smiled at me ''We have right now.'' He said with a devilish look on his face. I gave him a smile as I wrapped my arms around him, Damon wrapped his arms around my waist as we hugged eachother as if we had never hugged before. ''You're so beautiful.'' Damon whispered in my ear, I bit my lip as I gave him a quick kiss on the neck.. Knowing that would wind him up. ''Hey you know the rules, No kissing of the neck.'' He said motioning to the neck ''Unless we are well you know.'' He told me raising his eyebrows. I laughed at him as we got ready to head down stairs.

''Hey, Is he okay?'' I asked Stefan as he sat on the couch in a comfy looking position, Stefan nodded ''He's fine, Just a little shaken up.'' Stefan admitted as I knocked on Jeremys door ''Hey Jer, It's me.'' I said through the door ''Come in.'' I heard him say. I opened the door to see Jeremy still laying on the bed, ''You okay? Do you need anything?'' I asked trying to be supportive, He shook his head no. ''I.. I want to leave.'' Jeremy said giving me an apologetic look, I nodded ''Of course Jer, Yeah. We can go back home.. Maybe you'd feel better that way.'' I told him as he shook his head no again, I didn't understand. ''I mean leave town, Just for a while.'' Jeremy told me, I didn't know what to say. ''Whatever you need Jer.'' I told him honestly, It's the least I could do for him. ''Where are you going to go?'' I questioned him, Jeremy shrugged his shoulders ''I don't know yet.'' He admitted. I nodded ''But I'm going tonight.'' Jeremy told me as I grew shocked ''Oh..'' I said still trying to be supportive. ''You're not mad are you?'' Jeremy asked with an upset look at my face, I smiled at him ''No, I'm not mad.'' I told him as I patted his arm.

Jeremy had left just a few hours ago, Now it was just Stefan, Damon, Alaric and I. Caroline and Bonnie went home this morning and Klaus, Well I'm not too sure were he wondered off too,
I walked into the kitchen and sat down beside Alaric at the island in the kitchen. ''Are you going to be okay?'' Alaric asked concered ''I don't know.'' I said honestly as Alaric gave me a sympathetic look ''You're a good sister, You know that right?'' Ric said and took a sip of his beer ''I guess if getting your brother turned into a vampire then letting him flee town is a good sister then I should be getting the award any time now.'' I said as I looked over at Alaric, Alaric laughed and shook off my comment. 

Damon, Stefan, Alaric and I got into Damon's car, Damon was driving of course he really didn't like when other people drove his car. I was in the back next to Stefan which was just.. Great. The drive was surprisingly silent as we drove back to my home town, A few words said here and there but mostly we just all enjoyed the silence for once. The night was perfect, The crickets were chirping and there was a slight breeze in the wind I'm hoping the night stays peaceful.

We arrived at the familiar boarding house as everybody got out of the car, Everybody but Damon and I. ''Why aren't you getting out?'' I asked him a tad confused, ''We aren't done yet, We still have one more place to go.'' Damon said mischeviously as he turned the ignition back on and backed out of the drive way. Where are we going I wondered.
