Devans P.O.V
My parents walk into my room saying, "We have special news... We are moving to New Jersey!" "What why??" I said. "Because your father got a new job there as a school principal and we need to be close to his work. The moving truck will be here Friday morning at 7:00 am." Said mom. "But, I don't have any friend there!!" I said. "You will make new ones." Dad said. "Fine, only because I know what I say won't change anything..." I said. "Don't worry buddy it will be fun!" Dad said as he walked out of the room and shut the door."
"I can't believe this is happening..." I mumbled. But shortly after my parents left Collins, my older brother, comes storming in saying, "I'm so excited to move! What about you?!" "Why are you excited?! Moving from the hot to the cold weather, loosing all our friends..." I said. "Dad said it will be fun! Plus we get to go to a new school! We can start over and be who ever we want to be! And it will also be fun playing in the snow once in a while. It never snows in California! Now we get to see what it's like!" Said Collins. "I guess your right..." I said while Collins was walking out the door.
