Mia's POV

Lately Shawn has been sneaking out somewhere and it's getting annoying.

Everyday when I ask him where he's going he tells me he's going to hang out with "a friend" and when I ask him who he and he changes the subject.

For the past few nights he's been coming home late, constantly texting someone and he smells different. He smells of another woman's perfume.

I think he's cheating on me but I need more proof.

I open up my laptop and type Shawn Mendes into the search bar. 

The first thing that comes up is a link that says: Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello's flirty twitter convo.

Curious and wanting to know more I clicked on the link and read the article, The article started off with Shawn saying that Camila is the worst texter. So that's who he's texting.

Then Shawn states that he want to learn spanish again so Camila tweets him back saying that it's ok because he has an amazing spanish teacher who's name rhymes with Vamila Carmello.

Now call me paranoid but these messages sound very flirty. And I don't understand why Shawn didn't ask me, his girlfriend to teach him spanish, I know spanish.

It breaks my heart to think that Shawn is cheating on me and we haven't even said i love you to one another yet.

I close my laptop and head upstairs to see if I can find anything else. Shawn won't be back yet for another hour so I have plenty of time.

I enter the bedroom and find that Shawn left his phone here. I know it seems wrong but i unlocked his phone and opened his messages.

The most recent conversation was with Camila surprise surprise. I clicked on her name and began reading.

Camila: Hey Shawn cant wait for later today ;)

Shawn: Me neither were gonna have fun

Camila: You bet we are

Shawn: I just hope Mia doesn't find out what were doing

Camila: don't worry Shawn she won't find out

I didn't want to read anymore I just sat on the bed in shock.

I looked at the clock on the wall and realized there was only another 10 minutes until Shawn would be home. I put Shawn's phone in my pocket and went back downstairs to process all this information.

I didn't realize I was crying until I heard the front door open signalling Shawn was home.

"Mia, baby im home, where are you?"

"In here" I sniffled.

"Mia why are you crying" Shawn asks worry filling his eyes.

"Face it Shawn I know your cheating on me with Camila Cabello" I shout.

"What the fuck? NO im not" he shouts back.

"Oh yeah then how do explain this huh Shawn" I yell shoving his phone in his face.

"Mia I can explain" he says his voice softening.

"Great I'd love to hear" I sassed still crying.

"Ok so Camila has been teaching me how to speak spanish"

"Yeah I know Shawn, and im hurt that you didn't ask me, I know spanish."

"I know Mia but I couldn't ask you."

"Why not."

"Because I was learning how to say romantic things to you and I wanted you to be surprised, if you scroll back to our messages from yesterday you will see where I double checked with Camila that te amo meant love you, I wanted to tell you on our date tomorrow night" Shawn explains his head hanging low.

"That's why i've been texting her so much and why i smell like her perfume all the time and might I say damn she wears to much, her whole house reeks of her perfume" Shawn giggles which makes me giggle.

"I'm sorry I didn't trust you Shawn, I should have known better."

"It's ok Mia, to be honest if it was the other way around I would have been pretty convinced you were cheating on me too" he explains.

"Besides Camila means nothing to me the media just makes things up and if anything she was the one being flirty, I would never cheat on you Mia you mean the world too me."

"Good now how about that date" I smirk.

THE NEXT NIGHT

Shawn and I just got back from dinner and we are now outside laying on a blanket staring up at the stars.

"Mia te amo" Shawn says.

"Shawn" I squeal this was the first time he said he loves me. "I love you too.

He places his large hands on my cheeks and pulls me in for a passionate kiss.
