“Come in.” I heard the Hokage order after I knocked on the door. Rina took in a deep breath as I opened the door,
“Wow…” She whispered, she was obviously talking about the view, I didn’t pay it any attention, I just smiled and entered the room. The blonde haired woman grinned at me,
“Why hello Ayame.” I bowed,
“Arigato for letting Kakashi bring me back.” The hokage waved me off,
“Eh, we’re short on ninja so you would be a big help.” I shrugged and stood up normally again. I grinned when I saw the familiar pink haired girl,
“Sakura!” I exclaimed, she grinned and I quickly crossed the room to give her a hug,
“W-Wow, Ayame, I didn’t think that we were that close!” She muttered, I laughed and gestured to Rina,
“This is Rina, Rina, this is Sakura.” Rina smiled and held out her hand,
“Nice to meet you.” Sakura grinned and shook her hand,
“Nice to meet you too Rina-san.”
“Ok ok, Sakura, would you like to walk Rina and Ayame to the area where your team is waiting?” Sakura grinned and nodded,
“Hai.” She turned to us, “Someone wants to meet you Aya-ch-“
“Ok let’s go!” Rina gushed, she grabbed my hand and Sakura’s and pulled us out of the hokage’s room,
“H-Hey!” Sakura stuttered, “You’re going to wrong way!” I held back my laughter when Rina anime fell,
“You could’ve told me that sooner!” She exclaimed,
“Well if you weren’t-“
“Look, can you just take us to meet everyone please?” I asked with a sigh. Sakura placed a hand on her hip and smiled at me,
“Alright then. Follow me.”

I could seriously jump for joy when I saw Kakashi. I haven’t seen him in ages and he’s the reason why I’m here!
“OTO-SAN!” I squealed as I jumped on him, he chuckled but hugged me back,
“I really missed you kiddo.” He murmured,
“Ditto.” Rina cleared her throat,
“I thought that…” I pointed at Kakashi,
“He legally adopted me.”
“Oh, fair enough.” Kakashi chuckled,
“Ok, Ayame,” I turned and saw Naruto. I was about to apologise when I noticed the boy that he had with him. Short dark hair, pale skin, emotionless face. I narrowed my eyes.
I hate him.
That’s the only thing that came to mind, as far as I’m concerned, he’s Sasuke’s replacement. Well it’s not that simple, nobody can fill that space. Nobody.
Naruto snickered and whispered something in the boys ear before pushing him towards me. He studied me for a moment, I reluctantly held out my hand,
“I’m Ayame, and you are?” I couldn’t help the hostility that came with those words. Rina grimaced as the boy held out his hand,
“I’m Sai, it’s nice to meet you…” He looked me up and down, “Aya-chan.”
“Whatever, hey Aya-chan. You commin’? I’ll help you do your shopping.” I had smiled at Sasuke,
