Without You (SasuxNaru)
Chapter 04: Violet Eyes.

It was the start of a new week and the day went by in a blink of an eye, it was already the end of the school day and students were rushing to get out of school to hang out with friends, get to their part-time jobs or on their way home while others were on their way to club activities but Sasuke on the other hand didn't have club activities today instead he was on his way to go visit Naruto when Shikamaru had sent a troop of Sasuke's fan-girls to go find him and bring him to the student council room. The student council was having an emergency meeting and Sasuke was vice-president of the student council had to be there rather he liked it or not. "Glad you could join us, Sasuke." Shikamaru spoke up sarcastically as he watches Sasuke take a seat at his usual place when he did show up. Sasuke rolled his eyes at him quietly taking his seat not paying much mind to Shikamaru. "You and Kiba both know that right now neither of you can see Naruto so at least try to act like civil members of society and contribute to it." Shikamaru sighed crossing his arms over his chest, Sasuke let out a groan as he motion to whoever was speaking before to continue. Karin rose to her feet with a piece of paper in hand and adjusted her glasses with her free hand. "As I was saying before I was pleasantly disturbed by our princely knight Sasuke-Senpai!" She cooed happily hearts appearing in her eyes, Shikamaru cleared his throat which brought her back to reality. "Right! Since It's the new year we of the students council have been task with the opportunity to plan something fun and festive for not only the first years but for the entire school; we've received ideas from the school staff of what we can do and it's up to us to decide and execute it, of course in line of our budget." Karin informs, pausing briefly to shift the paper in her hand with another. "We can either do a culture style festival where we have the third years hold different stands in there respected classrooms and have different guest speakers come to school or we can do a lame and boring team building like any other school." Karin commented placing the paper back down on her desk.

"Well it's not a secret to anyone what we're going to do so tomorrow I'll call all the class representative of each third year class and we will discuss which class will be doing what, but I've called you all here so we can discuss guest speakers. In total we need four people who will be willing to come speak at the school." Shikamaru said standing up from behind his desk and making his way over to the whiteboard in the corner of the room. "We have already decided on someone who's more than willing to come speak at the school and I'm sure were all well aware of him; Naruto's dad will be one of the speakers. He told me that he knows someone else who would be more than happy to come so that leaves us with two more openings to fill." Shikamaru said as he wrote down two names on the whiteboard. There were many other things written on the whiteboard as well such as the day of the event, each members duty on that day and may other important details regarding that day. "I know! maybe we can have someone from the Uchiha family come speak that day, I mean aren't they like one of the schools biggest donors? and also didn't the Uchiha family along with Senju founded our city and built it to be the prosperous city that it is now?" A female member of the Student Council suggested, looking to Karin for approval. Karin gave her a thumbs up as she stood up from her seat and turned to Sasuke who looked to her with an exhausted look on his face. "Our prince Sasuke's and his family are just on whole another level you know? Him being so unobtainable is what makes him so desirable." Karin commented looking to Sasuke with wanting eyes. The rest of the student council members sighed and couldn't bring themselves to burst her bubble that Sasuke has already promised himself off to someone else that wasn't her or any other girl for that matter. "But honestly I doubt that someone from a prestigious family such our Prince will have the time to sit in room filled with hundreds of people to pass on their wisdom to the newer generation." She pouted folding her arms over her chest as she embraces herself while fantasizing about Sasuke being the one to speak. Shikamaru looked to Karin with a disturbed look on face before he turned to Sasuke who sat beside him. "Sasuke? Is there a chance that a current member of your family could come speak on that day?" Shikamaru questioned looking to the raven haired boy with a raised brow. Sasuke let out a groan as he scratches the back of his head racking his brain a bit. "Well my father definitely won't have the time since he's always so busy so it's either my mom or older brother, and knowing the two of them they'd come together in a pair so set them both down for number three." Sasuke said pointing towards the number three on the whiteboard. After they've decided on their number 3 spot they started to deliberate amongst themselves who the last guest speaker should be; they each had someone who would be a perfect fit for the last guest speaker but they just couldn't decide on someone. "Alright then how about we ask our former principal and now mayor." Shikamaru suggested raising his hand to force the others to quiet down. "I know it's a stretch but I think the first years could use a bit of the love we got from him when he was principal here. We all looked up to him because of how wise, kind and compassionate he is so why not ask him to come speak?" He elaborated pulling on to his tie removing it all together, they've been going at it for hours now and he wanted to be done for the day already. "...Clearly a better Idea then what we all had brewing up." Sasuke agreed and so did everyone else who was currently present. Shikamaru let out a sigh of relief as he wrote down the final name on to the white board. "Now that we've got that done and over with let's discuss our next agenda for today." Shikamaru informed which caused the other's to groan in annoyance. "Yeah, I know it's a drag but the earlier we get this done the faster we can get to organizing everything." Shikamaru said a sigh escaping for between his lips. "I've got to hardest job out of all of you so let's just get this over with and not drag it out." He elaborated turning to the white board as he started write down a few important notes that they we'll be discussing for the rest of the afternoon.
