Chapter 7: Jon

Chapter 7: Jon
knock knock
"Come in" Dr Hill mumbled from behind his desk as he continued "Ah, Jonathan. Good to finally see you"
Jon lightly nodded as he sat on the couch that he knew all too well
"I heard about what happened to you two from Evan"
"Yeah... I... I couldn't let him fucking bring his life down because of me" Jon mumbled as Dr Hill sighed
"Jonathan, why would you think that you brought his life down? Weren't you the one that helped him get over his anxiety?" Dr Hill asked
"That's all I fucking did... But he deserves more. He deserves a girl that won't fuck him up... that doesn't cut herself, that doesn't have all these fucking demons inside her..." Jon said through gritted teeth as he glared at his clenched fists
"But I wonder, is that what Evan feels?" Dr Hill asked but Jon kept quiet
"I'm a psychologist, Jonathan, and I don't specialize in couples counseling. But here's what I can tell you; you're overreacting" Dr Hill said as Jon shook his head
"I'm not fucking overreacting! Evan's such an amazing person and he deserves someone who's just as fucking amazing as him" Jon said as tears threatened to fall
"So you're just going to walk out of his life permanently?" Dr Hill asked
"M-Maybe... I don't know..." Jon mumbled
"Well that's what it seems like you're doing" Dr Hill said as he crossed his arms
"I love him too much to do this to him... to fuck up his life for my own benefit" Jon said as he began to sob
"He started cutting, Jonathan" Dr Hill sternly said as Jon's head snapped up with wide eyes
"What?" Jon mumbled in disbelief as horror filled his eyes
"He can't... He's too—" Jon started but was cut off by Dr Hill
"broken." Dr Hill said, making Jon shock
"He's broken without you, Jonathan" Dr Hill frowned as Jon immediately felt guilt and regret rush over him
"I... I didn't know..." Jon whispered
"So what do you plan to do?" Dr Hill asked
"I need to talk to him... I need to fucking talk to Evan" Jon said as he wiped away his tears
"I need to go, Dr Hill" Jon mumbled as he readied to leave. But before he could stand, Dr Hill stopped him
"Jonathan, just one thing though" Dr Hill said as Jon raised an eyebrow at him
