I want to thank you for leaving

My life has been so different now

At first I mourned

The loss of my only friends

But now I’m beginning to realize

That what you did to my life

May have been for the better

The people I’m with now genuinely care about me

I don’t get laughed at as much

I am better at talking to more people now

I have friends who are boys

Something that did not exist the last three years

I can be more open

Not afraid my ideas will be squashed

The chains have been lifted

I am free to be myself

For ruining and restarting my life
