Why? (Destiel Highschool/College/Coffee Shop AU)

Chapter 2

Dean's P.O.V. 

i wipe off the grease and sweat smeared on my head 

taking a deep breathe in

i was finally done

i had a long day today 

i had to fix 12 cars 

usually i only fix about 8 a day

but 12 is a lot

which i wasn't that upset about, just means more money for me

i start packing up the tools 

and cleaning my work space up a little bit.

before i head out i grab my backpack for school and wave to my boss 

"see ya tomorrow bobby!!" i yell

he come around the corner and is face to face with me

"done already?" he asks

"well yeah, i did 12 today" i tell him

hoping he won't ask me to do more

my arms are sore and my hands are cramped

he pats me on the shoulder

"i'm just messin with you, ya idjit, you did good today, go home and rest" 

he says smiling at me proudly

i smile back and say "thanks bobby, see ya!!" 

i say as i walk out of the auto shop 

i walk over to my prized possession

my baby

my beautiful black 1967 Chevy Impala 

i smiled as i started her up and heard her engine purr

i start driving home until i look at the clock

it's still pretty early

sam is still at his study group and my dad is not home

he travels a lot for his job 

but i don't mind, hes a good father

he tries his hardest with me and my kid brother sammy

hes a smart kid, he wants to go to law school to be a lawyer

i believe in him

as for me

i...i don't know...

after highschool i am going to auto school

so i can work on cars for a living

i really like cars

and fixing them kind of relaxes me

weird, i know...

to be completely honest i don't think about my life that much

well the past anyway...

i hate thinking about what i did in middle school 

i was stupid

and bullied people

hurt them

i dropped out when i realized what i was doing 

and went back sophomore year, in highschool 

to a different school...

(it was hard, considering my dad home-schooled me freshman year)

i forgot almost all of my past
